Katherine's pov
The car stopped moving and my mom turned down the music in the car.
"Alright kids were here but you can't take them off, open your car door and carefully step out. But don't walk, I'll grab you so u don't fall!!" My mom said way to happily.
I groaned and felt my way around the car for the door handle. I opened it and carefully stepped out making sure I wasn't on a curb or anything. My mom went around to grab Andrew I assumed because she wasn't anywhere near me. I could hear some foot steps coming closer to me
"Mom hurry up I'm impatient and it's humid and I don't want to be here" I said. Shortly after my mom hooked onto my arm and slowly started walking forward. I had no idea why she decided to blind fold us but this was dumb I hate this.
Almost there"
"Okay now stop walking, on three both of you take them off" my mom said unhooking her arms from us and walking somewhere else.
"One"
"Two"
"Three"
I took of the dumb blind fold and my jaw dropped.
"Mom we can't afford this.. This isn't our house is it?" I said giving me mom a weird look.
She squealed and jumped up and down and said it was our house.
"Come on guys lets go in!"
I walked towards the house slowly and entered. It was beautiful I have no idea on how we can afford this.
I entered the house with Andrew and started to roam but mom stopped us and said
"Hold on, I've decided that Katherine gets to pick her bedroom first"
I stuck my tongue out at Andrew and he sighed and I made my way upstairs to look at the three rooms up there. I opened the first door to the right of the top of the stairs and fell in love. It had a bathroom and a spacious bedroom with the tiniest balcony. This was definitely my room.
I'm still not excited about moving here but this room made it a little better.
"I found my room!!!" I yelled to them and it echoed the slightest bit because it was almost empty.
I needed to repaint this room because it's light pink but I'll do it after we get settled in. I walked back downstairs to
the car to grab my luggage and boxes.
"I guess this is gonna be my house now"
I mumbled heading back up to my bedroom
