Katherines pov

Another day of packing means another day of hell. We leave in 3 days and I'm almost all packed. I've been sitting on my bathroom counter trying to tame my burgundy hair that I just recently re dyed. I'm going to in and out, a bomb burger place, with a group of my friends just as like a little good bye thing. I have an hour or so to get ready but I didn't need that long, just some more time on my hair. I put product in hoping to tame it a little bit while I pick out an good outfit that isn't already packed away. I decided on my black ripped skinny jeans, well one of the pair's, and a white tank top with a kitten by the pocket. I threw on my converse and went back into my bathroom to do a light coat of foundation and some mascara and eyeliner to make my green eyes pop.

My hair was less of a mess and was just wavy so I decided that I should stop messing with it because it would only end up worse. I grabbed my phone and waited downstairs for Dakotah to pick me up even though I just got my license, I wasn't feeling like driving, it's their treat to me anyways.

"Mom Dakotah is on her way over here to get me!!" I shouted to make sure she heard me from wherever she was in this house, if she's in it.
I heard an okay from somewhere and smiled. I walked over to the couch to say hi to Andrew who was watching mine craft videos on YouTube, like usual. I rubbed at his head as if he was a little puppy. He took off his headphones and looked at me.

"Where are you going??"

"Out to lunch with some friends. If u get lonely go next door and see if that little kid, what ever his name is, wants to play"

He nodded and put his headphones back on. I know for a fact that he's not gonna go over there. I heard a honk out front meaning she was here. I shouted a good bye and grabbed my purse and ran out the door to Her little car.

I climbed into the passenger side and we hit the road.

Ten minutes later we ended up at out destination and walked inside. My eyes quickly landed on our group of friends waiting for us to get there. I walked up to them all and gave them hugs.

"Hey Katherine" Sebastian said and smiled. I've known him since kindergarten so we've always been good friends. Next to him, rose waved and next to her was her girlfriend rain. I still chuckle at their names, only because they were dating.

We all got up to order our burgers and milkshakes and went back to our table. We made small talk, trying to avoid that I was moving across the world in a few days. Sebastian went on about how his sister brought home her boyfriend who is supposedly super nice. I stopped listening at one point just because I was zoning out on the palm trees outside.
Sebastian snapped in front of my face and brought me out of my daze.

"Ya know I'm gonna miss you grey" he said using my last name he frequently called me by.

"I'm gonna miss all of you guys" I said looking at all of them and smiling.

"Can you guys come with me to the airport when I leave, it'll be around midnight so if you can't make it I understand."

I got a yes from everyone but rain, she needed to make sure she wasn't working. She works at a bowling alley and some times works the last shift at 12-2pm. I shrugged it off knowing I'll see them all one more time.

We all enjoyed our food and headed to the movies across the street to see some scary movie that would probably make me crap myself.
We walked in and bought our tickets and headed to the little store inside filled with candy and popcorn and what not. We all got what we wanted and headed to the left to theater three where the man at the desk said to go. We entered room three and found 5 seats for all of us. I was planted in between Dakotah and Sebastian. As we watched the many commercials before, I realized that this was the times I enjoyed, this is what ill look back at. The lights dimmed which meant the movie was starting. We all stopped whispering and pay attention to the screen.

I nearly did mess myself no lie. The beginning wasn't bad, it was the parts where the old couple started to become demons and eat people. Also the parts where scary screaming people would pop up out of no where. Sebastian acted tough because he said he's "manly" but I'm pretty sure I felt him grab my hand at one point.

Dakotah and I headed back to the car so she could take me back to my house. The house I would only be in for a couple more days.
