Katherines pov

I fell asleep pretty quickly but had woken up because I had to pee. I slipped out of bed quietly and glanced at the clock that had tiny red numbers reading 4:47. I tip toed through the hall i remembered going down last might to change.

I entered the bathroom door and shut it behind me softly, not making the door knob click. I stood there for a second thinking about how crazy this all is, I'm I'm Luke hemmings home, I was in his bed, I don't know it seems absurd to me. He treated me like absolute carp when I first met him and now it's like he cares.

I used the bathroom and looked in the mirror.my eyes were so puffy from crying I looked scary. I turned off the bathroom light and silently went to go back to his room. I entered and Luke was laying there peacefully with little snores escaping his lips. I climbed back into bed laying there with my eyes open, my back facing Luke, remembering the disturbing memories from last night. Chills ran through my body causing me to shake a tiny bit. Luke stirred behind me but didn't wake up. I closed my eyes hoping to get quite few more hours of sleep.

"No she's asleep asshole"

"I said no!!"

The voice said a little louder causing me to open my eyes. The room was very bright so I was squinting a lot. I sat straight up looking at Luke who was on the phone,it took home a minute to realize I was up and once He noticed he said "she's up never mind, see you see" and hung up on who ever he was on the phone with.

"I'm sorry for waking you I didn't mean to"Luke spoke awkwardly. I shook my head no, meaning he didn't. "Who was that on the phone" I asked but suddenly regretted it. "I'm sorry that's rude and weird of me to ask you don't have to tell me" I said stuttering a little bit at the end of my sentence.

Luke walked over to me and sat on the bed by me.

"It was calum you're okay you're allowed to ask questions" Luke chuckled, "he was worried all night and couldn't sleep so he's coming over here"

I nodded knowing that calum was beyond worried about what happened last night and probably even more worried that I went home with Luke.

"Luke I wanna say thanks for taking me here last night, I uh don't know what would've happen if you didn't find me on the side of the house" I said awkwardly with my eyes glossing over with tears.

He moved closer to me and put his hand on my cheek,"hey, don't cry I know it was scary but I'm here" he said inches from my face.

"Whyre you doing this Luke, why are you being nice" I whispered.

"Because Katie, I like you, a lot actually, and someone tried to rape you and that's not okay at all"

This was like deja vu, Luke's face extremely close to mine like it was days before. I began to lean in, I was so close I could feel his breath on my lips, my eyes closed and I pressed my lips against his and he immediately kissed me back. I don't know when I grew my balls to kiss him but it was crazy because I've been wanting this so long.

The sound of a slamming door interrupted my fairy tale moment and we backed away from each other quickly. I looked down at my lap that was covered in the thin material of Luke's boxers. Soon after the sound, calum entered the room with a look on his face I've never seen before.

I was engulfed into a huge hug by calum while Luke just stared.

"Cal I'm okay,I promise" I said quickly hoping he would let go soon so I could actually breathe.

"I know but it was worrisome when Luke tried explaining what happened and even more worrisome that he took you here"

"All Luke did was make sure I'm okay calum he didn't hurt me" I laughed

Calum took a seat between Luke and i. The tension rose and lukes lips were a shade darker of pink from the kissing we had done minutes before. I was afraid calum would notice but i dont think he was paying attention to Luke he was too worried about me

"We can get you home soon okay? Your mom needs to see you" calum said rubbing my back, I nodded knowing she must've been so scared.

"I have to make a spot for you in my car ill be back in a little bit and then we can head out" calum said standing up and leaving Luke's room.

"Thank you Luke. For taking me in for the night"

"Youre welcome Katie, I'm always here for you, just know that." He said crawling across the bed to me and planting a kiss on my forehead, then onto my cheek, then onto my jawline. I knew if it kept going it wouldn't stop and calum would walk right in. I've never gone too far but today wasn't the day I was gonna do it.
