Katherine's pov

School ended and I needed to get out of this classroom. That can't be Luke from the band, he's so beautiful but an asshole. The boys were right about him.

I tried to stay a minute after the bell so he'd be gone but he wasn't moving from his seat. I took a deep breathe and started to walk by him but I didn't look at him or anywhere near him. As I was passing him he stood up and bumped into me, on purpose.

"Oh my bad" he said with a smirk. I gave him a dirty look and made my way out of the classroom. God I wish he was a good person. He needed to be. I kept walking and checking over my shoulder a few times to make sure he wasn't following me. I made it to the lockers where the boys were,

"hey Katherine were gonna have a quick band practice, do you want to come? You can finally meet Luke!" My heart raced at his name, I couldn't believe he purposely bumped into me.

"Sure, who's car am i riding in?"

"MINE!!" All three of them yelled and laughed.

"I'll go with Michael and then Ashton can take me home, I rode with calum this morning since I didn't know any of you this morning" i said with a little laugh,

They all agreed and we headed out to the parking lot, I really needed a car I felt bad getting rides from them even though they're my friends. My mom just doesn't have the money for it.

I said "I'll see you guys in a little bit" to Ashton and calum and i got into Michaels car. It wasn't the nicest but it had 4 wheels and drove, better than what I have,nothing.

"Michael, why do we start on a Monday but only go to school on Monday Tuesday Wednesday, what about Thursday and Friday?" I said after buckling my seat belt and getting comfortable.

"It's just because it's the first week, it's cut short so it's not overwhelming, plus it's good for parties " Michael laughed and I knew he was serious.

"You guys are party people huh?"

"Definitely, it's just fun around here. There's one on Thursday night, I can take you if you want to go"

Memories from the last party, literally two nights ago,  of bad drinking and Luke popped into my head. Maybe I can talk to him there.

"I'll go but I won't drink, that's too much for me I finally got it all out of my system"

"Ahh okay, here's a tip, don't mix anything, it'll just upset your stomach"

"I'll remember that, that's probably very true"

We both chuckled and I listened to the music that was quiet, I turned the nob a little bit just so I can hear it better. I didn't know this song but it was good, has a good beat to it. 

The silence wasn't uncomfortable but I felt like I should say something.

"Is Luke actually gonna show up?"

"Yes he never misses a band practice, he loves it and us too much. Sometimes he is a little late though, you'll end up meeting him today."

I said okay and decided I shouldn't say that he sits four rows behind me in my last period. I'll pretend I don't know him, I don't know anything about him but I know his face and that he is rude.

We pulled up to Michaels house that I was at the day before and we walked in the door.

"Hi Katherine! Here to watch the boys practice??" Michaels mom asked as soon as she saw me inside her home.

"Yes, I haven't seen them all together, I just met Ashton today actually" I said smiling at her, she was a very sweet lady.

"Oh alright! Come up here if they do anything stupid or if you need something, I'll bring down some snacks in a little bit though"
