HEY! YOU! Yea you! If youre reading this, Then you're amazing!

Frisk P.O.V.

We walked down the stairs into the basement, and instantly, the vibe died. The walls didnt have the cheery warmth of upstairs. This felt eerie, creepy.

"This is scary Frisk!"

"M-Maybe we shouldn't be down here!"

"You think?" We didnt turn around though. I just gripped his hand tighter and kept moving. Cory had his hand in his pocket, probably holding the knife. At least now I knew why he always had it in there.

"My children, do you wish not to have breakfast?" We stopped cold, both staring at each other in fear. Slowly turning around, we saw Toriel slowly walking towards us.

"Cory!" I squeaked, taking a step back. I had never been afraid of Toriel before, until now. She still was smiling and stopped in front of us.

"My children, you do not want to be down here, you might catch a cold."

I nodded, all set to come back upstairs. For some reason Toriel didnt want us down here, and I respected her privacy.

"Its not cold, Toriel." I shot a look at Cory, begging him to just listen to her.

"You havent had your breakfast yet!"

"Im not hungry." I was getting worried, I didnt want the people I loved to get in a fight.

"Come upstairs, please!" Toriel was getting mildy annoyed now.

"Its a long walk back." Something about the way he said that, the edge in his voice. I became very aware of him with his hand in his pocket.

"Cory!" I said looking at him in bewilderment. "She doesn't want us to be down here so lets go!"

We stared at each other for a long time, having a quiet arguement. Finally, he gave up going up the stairs without me.

"Im sorry Toriel, I dont know whats gotten into him. He's pretty messed up from a nightmare he had last night." Toriel lovingly pet my head, smiling to me.

"Off you go, my child." I took that as my hint to leave. I finally found Cory in our room, I didnt enter, just stood at the doorway, watching.

He was pulling his hair, eyes wide open. It looked like he was talking to himself. Suddenly, he took out his knife and stabbed it into the table in front of him! I sort of jumped back, making him notice me finally.

"Frisk! How long have you been there for?"

"Long enough to see somethings on your mind." I stood there tapping my foot on the floor waiting for a response.

"There is something on my mind. Its been weighing me down lately, by that I mean for 5 minutes." He looked at me, giving me a weak smile.

"I dont want to stay here. Frisk. I want to go home." There it was, I had the feeling he didnt want to stay with Toriel but I hadnt said anything.

"But Cory, this...this is our home now!"

"No, Frisk, this is your home. Not mine. I would only be bored. You know I would never be happy!"

"On the surface you had no home! You ran away from it!" He flinched at my words.

"Im sorry," I said, blinking tears out of my eyes, "I didnt mean to make it sound like that."

"Its ok, Frisk. You're right. I have no home to go to. In fact, the only loved one I have left is you, Frisk." It was true, as sad as it sounded. Im all he had left.
