Cory P.O.V.
So Undyne was a lot scarier then I thought she would be! I mean, the way the light reflected off her armor sent shivers up my spine. I definatly hope we dont encounter her again!
As we walked into the next room, I was yet again mystified by how beautiful the Underground was. This room was a blue green color and there was calming water flowing off in the sides.
I looked at Frisk and saw that the light was shining right on her face, making her look even more beautiful then ever.
"Come on Frisk, we cant stop and stare forever!"
"You were the one staring at me!" She protested, making me blush. To stop my embarrassment, I said,
"Look, an Echo Flower!" There was a lone Echo flower standing, waiting to tell a story. "I wonder what it has to say." I touched the flower and instantly it said.
"You know, secrets are funny. You're not supposed to say them, but you will be bothered by them until you say it." Another voice spoke.
"What's the secret?"
"If I tell you, you might laugh!" The Echo flower was silent. I grinned at Frisk.
"C'mon! Lets find out what this secret is!" Frisk just rolled her eyes but followed me to the next flower.
"Fine, I'll tell you the secret. But don't tell anyone else!" The other person laughed.
"I'm your best friend! I wouldn't tell anyone!" The Echo flower was silent. We moved onto the next one trying to find out what the secret was.
"Here goes nothing." The voice said. "The secret is that a flower has been talking to me."
"An Echo Flower?"
"No, a small yellow flower. It has been telling me about a human with a camera as it's face. Isn't that weird?" The flower was silent, and we moved to the next one.
"A human with a camera as its face? Wouldn't they basically be a monster?"
"I dont know, but the flower wanted me to...to attack him. He said it would be my duty as a monster to deliver him to King Asgore."
"But isnt that Undyne's job?" The flower was silent. I looked at Frisk with worry in my eyes.
"It lookes like flowey has been busy lately, trying to get monsters to kill us." We moved on to the next flower, tension in the air.
"But you couldn't even hurt a human! You're just a kid!"
"The flower said to get a bunch of my friends to help, and not tell our parents. Thats why I told you the secret, so you could help."
There was a slight pause as the monster considered the offer.
"I'll do it. Not because I want to, but because maybe we can give the human to Asgore. Then he can break the barrier."
"The flower said the human would be coming through here in a day or two, so we should be getting ready." The Echo Flower was silent. I looked down the path and there were no other Echo Flowers.
"So now we have Undyne and a few kids trying to attack us?" Frisk asked, running her hand through her hair.
"Yep. The list just keeps piling up!" I gripped Frisk's hand a little tighter and moved into the next room. Instantly it had a different feel then the other room. The last room felt calm, this one felt ominous. It didnt help that there was a shadow on our faces.
