Cory P.O.V.
"Alphys! That's the wrong way again!" I yelled as an orange light went by us.
"S-s-sorry! I d-dont know whats h-happening!" We had been trapped in the Core for a few hours now. Yeah, we're completely lost, no thanks to Alphys.
"She had given us wrong direction after another, wrong codes and wrong answers. I felt bad for Alphys. She was a complete mess and her stuttering had increased tremendously.
"C-come on brain!" She yelled on the other end of the phone.
"Alphys, just calm down for a second and tell us what the problem is." Frisk said calmly.
All the trouble had started when we ran into a monster and his big ugly friend. The smaller one had a magicians hat and had magical orbs. We had gotten into battle with him and managed to escape, barely.
"O-ok." Alphys said taking a deep breath. "T-the problem is that my map and cameras dont match anything in the Core! I dont know what to do!" I really felt bad for her. I knew she was trying her hardest to protect us but in the end you just cant protect everyone.
"O-ok. I-I think I figured it out. When you get to the next intersection, keep going straight." I looked at Frisk uncertain if we should believe Alphys.
"Ok..." I trailed off.
"We came to the intersection and I hesitated going forwards.
I trust Alphys. I thought as we went straight. Instantly I knew something was wrong.
"W-wait, m-m-maybe you should t-turn back." Alphys stammered into the phone.
That's when I saw the monster with the Magicians hat on. Too late.
The monster jumped up and down, yelling a few words.
"I see what you fear! Youre darkest fears!" An evil glimmered on the monsters face. "And now you're going to as well!"
His orbs blinked a shimmered a few times making me really sleepy. I could feel my already weak legs give out from underneath me as I slid to the floor.
I felt Frisk fall down next to me and before falling asleep I reached out my arm and protectivly put it around her waist.
Goodnight Frisk...
Time for the dream!
(Still Cory P.O.V.)
I was standing, or floating, in the middle of nothing, black surrounding my body for eternity.
"Hello?" I called out in the darkness. "Frisk?" My voice died quickly in the void.
(P.S. the being talking to him is different then the one when he flickers, this is just part of his dream.)
Have you ever just wanted to reset it all? Everything leading up to this point? Everything you've ever known up to this point just erased? You could erase this world and everything it contains.
