First of all, you are amazing!
Second of all, there won't be a chapter tomorrow. I need to take a quick break from the story but I will have up another Q&A/thank you segment.
Without further ado, here's the next chapter!
Cory P.O.V.
"So...uh Frisk, I guess I have some explaining to do!" I nervously chuckled, trying to lighten up the mood.
"You bet you do!" She was mad.(geez Cory, how did you figure that one out?)
"So remember that time I told you that Flowey had told me some things?"
"Keep going."
"Well, at the time I thought you were dead. He told me how to bring you back! He said killing monsters would do it!"
"And you believed him? Couldn't you tell he was evil?"
"Well, when he was talking to me he seemed caring, not the psychotic flower you saw."
"But Im alive, why would you try and kill Toriel?"
"Before I answer that I need to tell you something else. About how to save a soul"(Im not going to go through explaining something Ive already written and bore you people. If you have no clue what hes talking about, I suggest you read the chapter to save a soul. Most important chapter in the book!)
"Y-You would kill yourself, for me?" I had just finished explaining everything to Frisk. I felt like a boulder had been lifted off my shoulders.
"Of course! For you I'd do anything!" I smiled at her squeezing her hand, maybe she was forgiving me.
"Then get rid of the knife." My fingers gripped the handle of the knife in my pocket.
"F-Frisk I cant, we need it!"
"No we dont Cory! YOU need it!" So what if I did! I only needed it to protect us...right?
"Frisk, I PROMISE you I wont use it unless we're about to die!" She knew I couldnt let it go.
"Fine, but if you hurt one thing with it, its gone. Along with me!" I flinched at her words. I couldnt let her leave me.
"Frisk, thats not fair!" She just looked me in the eyes, not backing down. "Whatever." She laughed at her victory and skipped down the path. I was still holding her hand so I had to run to keep up with her. No way was I skipping.
"Oh my God! Theres snow!" Frisk let go of my hand and jumped into a big pile of snow, making me smile.
"Cannon ball!" I yelled jumping in after her.
Frisk screamed as she saw me land next to her in the snow.
"You scared the crap out of me!"
"Its what I do best!" Eventually the coldness of the snow numbed our body, forcing us to get out of the snow pile.
"That maybe wasnt the smartest thing to do." Thats when I saw him...or it. They were leaning against a tree just watching us. They looked boney, like a skeleton.
"Hey Frisk, do you see that?" She looked at who I was pointing to, instantly her face paled.
"Uh, he's just looking at us."
"Maybe he's just a friendly guy who wants to give us a cookie!"
"Cory, people who creepily watch what you're doing dont give you cookies."
"Maybe we should be moving on..." Frisk was looking at shock at the man.
"C-Cory, he's gone!" I spun around eyes wide. He's gone!
