"Emily get away from there!" JayJay shouted at me, making me scared.

I never hearded him sound so much like a meanie.

He kneeleded next to the pretty girl and put his hand on her face. It looked like what mummy and daddy used to do.

"Hurt." I whispered. Scary JayJay and pretty girl had dark red stuff on their tops. I didn't like that.

"No shit." Cally said, making funny noises. Cally said a swear word. I'm telling mum. "Oh my god..." His looked at pretty girl. He looked at her different than JayJay. Not as...hardly. That's not a word I don't think.

Cally said other things but I looked at pretty girl and how her hair mixeded into the leaves and how her skin was almost grey and how a branch was sticking out of her belly. So I walked over, couldn't stop looking at pretty girl. There was something about her that's not right. Not bad not right. But, almost...

I copy-catted what JayJay did before and felted weird. Like when Cally flips me upside down weird. A million bagillion gazillion pictures were in front of my eyes.

A lot of pretty girl in them, but some bad man. I knew he's bad cause I felted it.

And bad...girl? Hard to tell, looks like a boy, feels like a girl. Hard to explain.

The pictures started shaking, or was I shaking? I confused.

This pretty girl done some bad things, but I knowed now she's good.

"Oh my god..." Callum observed Lexi as he wheezed, finally catching up.

"I've seen some freaky shit before but...why would someone - I don't - is this some sadistic cult work? There's a - there's stake - why would - I don't -" he turned to me and gasped. "What if we're next?! It's an ambush - I know it is! Run - we need to run - they could - I don't wanna die - I'm too young to die - I can't -"

"Breathe." I said, not moving from her side.

"Right...breathe...yeah...that's a thing I do..." He nodded and sat down, staring at the floor in shock.

My skin began to itch. I was more furious than sad. I was going to find the bastard who did this and end their life. I'd only known her all of 2 days but I felt like I wanted to protect her with my life.

The strange thing was, I thought that I'd at least know when something would happen to her. I thought I'd feel something.

But I didn't.

And that's what made me angry.

"Stop hovering around a dead body, it's creeping me out. We need to call the police. She's dead." Callum said, must have come to his senses.

"No." My voice was blunt.

"No? No?! NO?!?! Jayden our classmate is dead. Look." He reached over with a grimace on his face and placed his fingers near her neck. "No pulse equals dead."

Not if she didn't have a pulse in the first place.

"Cal, look, I need to tell y- EMILY!" Em was on the floor convulsing like she was having a fit.

Did she have epilepsy and I didn't know about it?

I know you're not supposed to interrupt a fit so I kept speaking to her instead. So did Callum.
