Chapter 43- Gender Reveal and Concert Speech

"IT'S A GIRL!" We say in unison, overwhelmingly happy. Jenna and Tyler pop their party poppers and we we all cheer. Me and Josh kiss Mid laughter, this is like a dream come true! "Alright you too, turn around the cake so we can see the hot pink insides and pose for a picture." Jenna says, giving Tyler his phone. I turn around the cake and with the pink and blue streamers all caught up in our hair, we smile and Tyler snaps the picture. "I'll send it to everyone so you can send it and post it and do whatever you want with it." He says and simultaneously he sends out the picture making all of our phones buzz. "Now lets eat some cake!" I say slicing the rest of the piece. I slide it onto a red plate and hand it to Josh, "Hopefully this is as good as it looks," I say cutting another piece, handing it to Jenna, "And smells!" She says and I hand a piece to Tyler. "Bone apple teeth." Josh says and we laugh, cheering our plates like win glasses, we all fork a piece into our mouths and "Mmmmmm," a moaning sound is heard from everyone, the frosting is so creamy and sweet and buttery and-"Delicious!" Tyler says, exactly my point. "I guess this place lives up to its reviews." I say winking at Josh. He winks back, smiling with a full mouth of cake. I sink my teeth into another piece while Josh pops a question, "Tomorrow at the concert, would you be ok with announcing the baby and the ring?" I consider this for a moment and I see no rhyme or reason for keeping it a secret, "Of course! I'll have to let my family know first though, they'd be livid if they heard it over the news or social media!" I say grabbing my phone, "We better do the same." Tyler says, motioning his fork at Jenna and Josh. I open my phone and smile at the picture Tyler sent me, I screenshot it, and send it one by one to my mom, my brother, my dad, my sisters, my grandma, pretty much everyone in my family. The room is really quite and all you can hear are the constant 'swoosh' noises indicating messages are being sent and the chomping of the rich delicious cake.
"I'm generally surprised," Josh says while I start shutting off the lamp on our bed side table. I curl up in the sheets as Josh goes on, "What?" I say looking up at him, "You haven't thrown up all that cake yet." I put my hand on my stomach and feel my baby kick. "Baby must have a sweet tooth like her momma. Wanna feel her kick?" I say and grab Josh's big hand, laying it gently on my bare stomach. "Waaaait for it." I say, C'mon baby, kick for Mom and dad. I look at Josh and smile, "Kick for me and I'll eat more cake tomorrow." I say and almost instantaneously I feel the baby kick. We laugh and Josh says, "What a strong kick! Either we have the next professional soccer player on our hands or a baby who's eager to get more cake." I laugh and put my hand on Josh's soft yellow hair and begin to stroke it. "Thought of any baby names yet?" Josh says rubbing my side, gently with his hand. "Pshhh, when do I have the time? Although, I really like Cady or Amara." I say still playing with Josh's hair, "Those are pretty names! I really like Abigail or Ruby." I could see naming our kid Abigail. "Those are also good names! This is gonna be hard. Ok so, you pick out your favorite names out of the two you choose and I'll do the same." I say and he nods his head. So my two names, Cady and Amara. I really like the name Amara, it's unique, I can't really think of any Amara's that I know. It almost sounds like a Disney princess name. I also like Cady though, it rolls of my tongue comfortably. But I really like the name Amara, and I can see calling that name to the dinner table. "Got the name yet?" Josh says interrupting my thoughts, as a matter of fact I do. "Amara." I say. "Abigail." Josh says. Good, we've narrowed it down to two. I frown although, noticing only one of use will have choose the name for the baby. I sense Josh feels the same so he says,"Ok baby girl, Are you an Abigail or an Amara? I'm gonna say each of these names, kick on the one you identify as." I feel Josh's hand move from my side to my stomach, I put my hand on my stomach too and look up at Josh's brown eyes. "Amara?" It takes a few seconds, just lying there in silence, listening to each other's breathing. We feel a strong two kicks. I smile and Josh does too. He moves his hand back to my side and I keep playing with his hair. "Goodnight Lily." "Good night Josh." I close my eyes and start to drift off to sleep and then I hear in a kiddish voice, "Goodnight Amara."
3rd Person POV, The next day (Tour start off concert)
The crowd is excited, the arena is already loud and nothing has happened yet. People are arm to arm in a sellout, 2 football field length, arena. The crowd are in for a treat for Lily is back stage right now with Josh, Jenna, and Tyler. Everyone is nervous for how the crowd will react becuase once it's out, it's out. It'll be raiding social media and the news. Lily is planning to deliver the news and is going on, over and over in her head on what to say. This is a big night, specifically for Lily, Josh, and Amara. The stage starts to light up and behind the curtains Tyler and Jenna walk over to his piano and sit upon it. Lily is nervous and grabs a mic, walking out into center stage. Josh walks over to her and stands there with her, giving her a reassuring squeeze on the shoulder letting her know she CAN do this. Lily takes in a deep breath and the curtains open, a loud wave of cheers and screams fills throughout the arena, it's so loud you can feel it in your heart. "Hello everyone!" Lily yells into the mic, surprised on how much her voice is projected. "Welcome to the Blurryface Tour!" The crowd yells once more. It starts to calm down and Lily begins to speak again, "We've been through a lot this year, me, josh, Jenna, and Tyler. We really have.... The clique has definitely been there for us and showed us strength and how to cope with situations like the ones we went through. As many of you know," Lily tries to gulp down any fear She has and tries to speak," As many of you know, I was kidnapped, and I-," She looks to Josh, trying to bring up the strength to say it, "I was raped," Gasps are heard throughout the crowd,"And um, I came out pregnant from that incident. We have all made the decision to keep the baby, and if you follow us on twitter, you know this, you also know that we are having a little heathy, precious, baby girl, named Amara. We are very excited to bring her into the family with a loving mother, me, and a loving father, Josh." She looks at him and they smile warmly at each other, "Before any of this happened, I should also let you know Josh proposed," More gasps, Josh takes the mic from Lily and begins to speak, "Me and Lily, Jenna and Tyler, Like my beloved fiancé said, we've been through a lot this past year. And that makes me think that whatever it is we have to go through, we are better off going through it as one," Josh looks at Lily and he continues to talk, "There's no one I could imagine spending my life with other than Lily and my daughter Amara. Oh and of course Jenna and Tyler over there. Lily, I love you, and I'm over joyous to be spending the rest of my life with you." Josh ends on a high note. The crowd all says Aweeeeee and it is extremely loud. Lily and Josh kiss which makes the crowd yell and scream and cheer! The beginning to 'Run and Go' begins to play and Josh runs back to his drums while Jenna comes on stage with Lily to dance. Tyler starts to yell the lyrics as does Lily and Jenna along with the crowd, "I can't take them on my own, my own
