"LET'S put it in a motion, Imma give you a promotion. I'll make it feel like a vacay, turn the bed into an ocean." I sang to Fifth Harmony's Work From Home, playing in my laptop.

Well, I can't really say that I'm a fan of them. The song was just... sexy. Fact, I don't hate Lauren too just because he's Bradley's ex-girlfriend.

Wait. Why do I feel lazy today? Ugh.

That's it. I'm just gonna go shopping.

I took some dollars and stocked it in my purse, also getting my ATM card.

Black skinny ripped jeans.

Cream crop top.

And a pair of three-inch white heels from Prada.

"Ready to go." I mumbled to myself.

Just then I heard my doorbell ringing. I walked to the door and opened it.

"B-Brad?" I was surprised. Oh good heaven, why did you drop an angel at my doorstep?

"Hi Kate." He waved and winked. Will he ever stop doing that?

"Come in." I invited.

"No need. Actually, I'm just gonna bring this to you. You left it in the couch last night." He handed me the bag of chocolates.

"Oh God, thank you for not eating this." I joked. "But seriously, thanks."

"No problem. Why are you all dressed up?" He suddenly asked.

"I'm going to the mall." I answered. "Um... do you wanna come?"

I'm sorry but I'm not asking him out. I'm just being polite. That's all. Yeah.

"Don't you have any company?" He asked, making sure.

"Sadly, no." I said.

"Okay, shall we?" He engaged.

I nodded. "But hey, I'm gonna use my car. It's been some time since I drove her." I defended.

"Sure. Do you mind if I park my car in your garage?" He asked.

"No problem." I shrugged. "Come on."

I took my keys, including the house's and the garage keys and went in outside. I got a black Ford. Not rich enough to buy a sports car, still saving up for that.

"That will be $160, ma'am." The cashier told me.

I took out two $100 bill. "Change, $40. Thank you ma'am."

"Thanks." I said with a smile and carried five paperbags.

"Need some help?" Brad asked. He got two paperbags in his hands.

"No, I'm–" He cut my answer off by snatching the paperbags from my right hand. Causing his left hand to brush against mine.

Electricity. That's what I felt.

"You hungry?" He asked.

"I want some donuts." I answered. That's what I'm thinking and craving for at the moment.
