I opened my eyes and saw nothing but white. I blinked again and my vision started getting clearer. I sat up again. I saw Jessica and Connor crumpled up together in the couch of this hospital room. They looked cute together.

My eyes found a clock, it's already half-past 2 am. I took the pitcher and poured some water in this tall glass. I drank from it.

"Kate." I heard a voice. I turned around. It turns out to be Will, with James and Tristan behind him.

"How are you?" I heard him ask. I just gave a smile. I still can't talk and I still don't f*cking know why! "It's true then. You can't talk."

"Lie back down, Kate." He said. I took a deep breath and I went back to the hospital bed. Will sat on the small wooden chair beside my hospital bed.

James walked up to me and gave me a pen and a small notebook. "Now you can say what you want to say." I smiled widely to him.

I wrote on the piece of paper. I showed it to Will.

Don't tell Mr. and Mrs. Sandel, I don't want them worried.

His eyes read the note and he looked at me, started talking. "Faye told them about you already."

I sighed. I wrote again.

I just don't want them too worried about me.

"They'll be okay." He replied. I replied with a small nod. "Are you hungry? I brought McDonalds."

I nodded excitedly. I saw James and Tristan's face lit up. I smiled to them. Will took the McDonalds paperbag and handed it to me. I peeked inside, seeing a box of McSpaghetti, together with McFloat and McSundae. I took the McSpaghetti happily. I ate it and I felt great. It's been a long time since I ate some McDonalds stuff.

"I'm sorry, we really don't know why the tests results came out very late." I heard a man'a voice saying. "He has amnesia."

Who?! Who is he talking about?!

I forced my eyes to open. The light on the ceiling hurt my eyes. I blinked a couple of million times and sat up. I saw James, Tristan, Connor and Jessica standing in front of Dr. Anderson. Will's nowhere to be found.

"Hey." Jessica ran up to me. "Are you okay now? How are you feeling?"

I tried my best to talk. "I-I... I'm... good."

"You're talking!" She squealed excitedly. "Doctor." She called out to the doctor. The doctor raised his index finger to James, walked up to me and checked my eyes again.

"You're getting better, that's great." He announced. I smiled to him faintly.

"Br-Brad...?" I asked him.

"Well," he straightened up his posture. "He'a got amnesia. He might not be able to remember anything. It would take him a month or two to get his memory back. He'll get back to his own self anyways, no need to worry." He smiled a little.

"Come on. What if your results are wrong?! You failed the last time." James rolled his eyes.

"James." Tristan scolded softly.

"We can run some test again, for your own assurances." The doctor said.

"Go on. We don't care, we just want the right results." James spat.

"Sir, can we talk outside?" Connor spoke. The doctor looked at me for a moment before going out of the room with Connor.

Jessica suddenly stood up and looked at my dextrose, or more on the wound. "Does it hurt?"
