WE'RE in the middle of the hot afternoon, stuck at a beach here in LA. We decided to take ourselves out.

"What's the date today?" Brad asked, who was sitting beside me.

"August 10, why?" I answered.

"Nothing." He smiled.

We watched Connor and Jessica go all lovey-dovey with the each other. They haven't even admitted anything but it's so clear that they like each other, duh.

Well, yeah. A week passed and Brad and I stayed the same. We call and texts every single day, and he's still somewhat jealous of Will... but I never cleared to Brad that I like him.

Will and I were closer right now. That's one of the factors why Brad's still being a little over-reacting when I am with him. But of course, he might knew about my feelings then and now because of how I act around him. Well, actions speak louder than words.

"Will you come with me? I left something on my bag." Brad said, getting up and offering me a hand.

I took it and we excused ourselves from James and Tristan who were playing games on their own phones.

We reached our cottage, or more like a small house, and he seemed to headed to the first room. He crawled into the bed and lied on his stomach.

"Hey." I tapped his legs. "Don't tell me you didn't forgot anything."

"Hmm..." He hummed with eyes closed. "I'm tired."

"What? Like, we just got here a few hours ago and–"

He flipped his body while I was in mid sentence and pulled me my hand, then I crashed onto the bed.

"Ugh, Bradley." I groaned. His arms were locked around my waist with a tight grip. "Let me go."

"Never." He whispered, fanning his mint breath to my face.

I don't know what's gotten into me but I was the one who leaned in for a kiss. I felt him smile before he responded. Our lips moved in sync.

My body moved closer to him and now I'm sitting on his torso. He held my waist as he sat up. The kiss started to get more intense when we heard two familiar voices laughing.

"Connor and Jessica." We both said.
We pulled away and we climbed off the bed. We hid behind the door.

There are two rooms in this cottage, which is just facing each other. We saw Connor and Jess making out in the living room when we peeked.

"Shh." He said and put his index finger in his lips. I almost snorted out.

"Come with me." Connor said and pulled Jessica to the second room. I can hear Jessica's giggle and we both heard the door shut.

Brad looked at me. "That's their own business. Let's go."

He pulled my hand until we reached the door and we walked back to the spot where James and Tristan were left.

We didn't came closer first when we overheard them talking.

"What? They went on a double date?" Tristan asked, focusing on his phone.

"Maybe. Geez. I wish I brought my girlfriend along." James said.

"What? You have a girlfriend?" Tristan asked, looking at James.

"That's why I don't have anyone with me, idiot." James snapped. Tristan chuckled.

"We're not on a double date like you think." Brad said, picking up a glass of juice in the small table between them, as we let them see us.
