WE separated ways in the afternoon. I spent the whole day wondering what Brad and Tristan was talking about."Kate, let's have dinner." Jessica said, knocking at my door.
"I'm not yet hungry." I reasoned.
"You're eating, bess. Come out." She pushed.
"I'm still fine." I said.
"That's it. I'm coming in." She groaned and flashed the door open.
"You okay?" She asked with sincerity.
"Yeah, I am. I'm fine." I answered, without looking in her eyes.
"I've known you since first year high, you can't lie to me." She concluded. "What happened?"
It took me seconds to answer. It's like I have my answer but my mouth just won't talk. I opened my lips to say something but nothing went out from it.
"Is it Brad?" I heard her ask.
I closed my eyes and laid back to my bed. "He's... I don't know. Ugh."
"What happened?" She's eager to know. "Tell me. Please."
"Last night, the doorbell turned out to be Will, asking for help. Brad followed me. Will was shirtless, which made my jaw drop. You know how I find it awkward when boys are shirtless in front of me, right? Then Brad held my hand last night as we went back to our rooms. He even kissed my forehead. Then the morning, he looks grumpy about me inviting Tristan to come with us on the ride. He even whispered something to Tristan and they had that secret whispering conversation in front of me. I can feel it was me they're talking about, since Brad didn't talk to me that much after the breakfast." I told her.
"Maybe he's jealous." She stated.
"Jealous, my ass. Why would he be?" I said.
"Who knows? He might be falling for you already." Jessica said back.
"He won't, ever. I accepted it in the first moment I fell for him." I told her, and myself too.
"But base on what I see, it's not really impossible for him to fall for you." She pushed.
"You're just seeing things." I kept my negativity.
"Oh please. Stop with the negativity!" She said irritated. "Let's just have dinner."
I stood up and we went downstairs. She cooked spaghetti carbonara. I ended up stress-eating.
IT'S not that easy to be around him. He was like, just over there, but I can't talk to him. It's feels like I've done something really wrong.
"Hey. You alright?" Connor appeared on my side. We're at the studio. Jessica came with me. It's our lunch break.
"Yeah." I sighed.
"You are not." Connor said.
"I'm fine, really." I pushed.
"You look lost... and beaten up." He defined. I took a deep breath. They probably noticed.
I took a deep breath. "Is there something wrong with me?" I asked Connor.
He eyed me suspiciously. "None. Why?"
"D*mn." I put my head to rest on the table.
"If you need someone to talk to, I'm always here." Connor tapped my back. I touched and rubbed his hand.
"Thank you." I look up at him.
"What's for lunch?" Brad asked with a low tone, sitting beside me.
