Today is the day. I wore a simple black jeans and a white v-neck shirt. I pulled off my Taylor Swift Edition of Keds from my closet and put it on. I put a bit of pressed powder, mascara, and that pencil eyeliner again. I love my own lip color so I don't want to color it with anything. I just applied a thin coverage of balm stick on it. It became a habit now for this kind of make-up.

I'm coming to pick you up. Get ready beaut. ;)

I read Brad's text just fifteen minutes ago for the hundredth time today. I don't know but I'm happy that we're doing this. He needs this and it's my pleasure to help.

"Hey Kate!" I heard Jess from my door and I turned to her. "Your Brad is downstairs."

He is? I felt my cheeks heating up as I started hearing my accelerated heartbeat. I picked up my phone quickly and shoved it inside my sling bag. I went downstairs and took a sharp breath in before I met his eyes.

"Hi." He said as he stood up nervously at his seat. He wears a plain navy blue button-down that fitted his lean figure, and my ever-so favorite black skinny jeans. His hair is neatly resting in one place. "You look beautiful."

"Thank you." I flush.

"Let's go?" He asked, taking his hand out for me to take. I took it wholeheartedly and we walked out of my house hand in hand.

I saw Will watering the small grasses outside his house. He was facing me with his back so we didn't met with our eyes.

Brad opened the car door for me. I smiled as I blush. This feels exactly perfect. I felt him sit on the driver seat. He looked at me in the eyes and I felt goosebumps in every cell of my being.

He started the engine and I looked to the road. Then I remembered, he doesn't even know where we are going. He shouldn't took the steering wheel.

"You don't know where we're going, do you?" I smirked at him.

"No." He shyly answered. "You could tell me the directions."

"Okay." I shrugged.

"But first, we gotta go catch a coffee." He smiled to the road.

"Okay."

Minutes more, we stopped in front of Coffee and Books Café. "Let's go."

He opened the car door for me. Brad's such a gentleman. I gladly went out of it. He took my hand and intertwined it with his. I heard noises and buzzes around, I bet they saw my hand and Brad's clearly since it's weekend and there's a lot of people here. I know we'll be on headline later or tomorrow.

"Don't mind them." He pulled my hand closer, my body automatically shifted closer too.

I smiled to myself. "Hi Courtney."

"Hi Kate. Hello Brad." She smiled to Brad.

"Hi." He smiled back. "You know her?"

"Yes." I nodded.

I saw that figure again. He flashed me his green eyes and he made eye contact as he took over Courtney's work this time – again. "Courtney, can you help Irene back there?"

"Sure sir." She nodded and went out of the sight. Why does Luke always had to do that? I love Courtney for some matter.

"What a good morning for a coffee, isn't it, Katelyn?" Luke smiled at me.

"Indeed, Luke." I smiled back.

"Two cappuccinos." I heard Brad ordered as he took out his black wallet.

"I can pay for myself." I said with a chuckle. I don't really feel like he needed to pay for me, eve though he's my boyfriend – or not. But I can pay a cup of coffee for myself, duh.
