The view out of the car window was unbelievable. All the twinkling lights in different colours of the vivid city were just amazing. Even now, after sunset, quite a lot of people were walking down the main street, sitting outside the small and cosy restaurants, or smoking in front of the clubs where loud music could be heard inside. The young boy was sitting in the back-seat of the black car with the darkened windows, which protected him from outside gaze. The driver was not taking notice of him, so he was able to fully concentrate on his surroundings, the lively night-life of the city.

Even though he was born here, Gaint had no memories of this city or country. Everything was new and exciting. When he had been three years old, his father and mother had gone to England, due to his father's business as CEO of a very profitable and successful company. At the age of twelve, his father had sent him to one of the most prestigious and exclusive boarding schools in England while he and his wife went back. Now, five years later, his father had decided to call him back home and send him to a school nearby.

Based on his previous decisions, his father could have been considered cold and distanced towards his son. Yet this was definitely not the case as he was a very caring and devoted father, who just wanted his son to have the best possible opportunities he can provide for him. Nevertheless, his decision to bring him back was quite surprising for everyone, especially for the young man. That's the reason he was now sitting in a car, driving through the night in an unknown city, not knowing what to expect.

His green eyes were still fixated on the outside passing by quite rapidly. A group of young boys were standing in front of the bank of the bus station, talking, drinking, and fooling around. This view was unfamiliar in so many ways. At the school in England the boys would never had hung out like this as they had been too busy studying and keeping to themselves. Going out in the evening for a drink or something like that never had come to their minds.

"It must be nice to just hang around with your finds like that," he thought.

Besides his parents, the only person the young boy knew, was his friend Sam. He used to be a pupil at the same boarding school as Gaint but went back here a few years ago. The contact between those two boys, however, has never ended, thanks to Skype and What's App. Additionally, Sam will also be in the same class at his new school.

"At least, I have one friend and won't be a complete outsider." he sighed.

The driver now left the main street and entered a smaller side-street. The colourful lights of the main street with its commercial buildings slowly vanished and darkness fell on the city. The small street lamps were the only source of light. The buildings also slowly started to look more expensive with their wide gardens, swimming pools, and big windows all surrounded by walls or fences. They looked pretty impressive.

The houses not just looked expensive. They were also very clean and neat, almost unsurprisingly ordinary. None of them had a crazy colour or some strange ornaments. The grass of the gardens was trimmed exactly the same height, the basic colour of the houses was white in different variations from eggshell to dark white.

Finally, the car arrived in front of a big iron gate guarding the big, white house behind it. While the driver stopped for a few seconds, the two wings of the gate opened automatically, and the black car was able to enter. The house was a two floor building with a big glass door surrounded by old, white pillars. The driveway towards the main building was framed with bushes and lamps which dipped the scenery in warm light.
