Name: Dust
Nice, although Dust is a common name for a loner, but I can't judge, seeing that I have a loner named Dust.
Nickname: N/A
Typical of a cat who is a loner and has no friends or family...
Clan/Rank: Loner
Can't take anything away really, because at least she isn't a hostile rogue or Clan leader...
Gender: Female
To be honest, there are way too many she-cat OC's, but then again, there are way more female readers than male, so I don't judge unless it's a stereotyped name...
Age: Nearing 18 Moons
Okay, so since she's not a Clan cat, I can't really say anything on this...
Looks: Black and heavily spotted brown cat. Green eyes.
I added that her eyes were green for you. But I like her looks. Infact, my loner named Dust is a brown with silver speckles tom and blue eyes. Guess it just goes with the name.
Mate: None
Makes sense.
Sexuality: Aromantic (Dunno if that is spelt right :/)
I think you spelled it correctly, but Aromanticism is a bit common for female loners...
Parents: Splash (Mother, whereabouts unknown) Father (?)
Okay, I like how she doesn't know if her parents are dead or not, because that is a bit overused with loner OC's, even I'm guilty of it with Dust, Hope, and Snow, my loners.
Siblings: Spider (Brother, deceased)
Backstory: Around the age of six moons, her mother urged Dust and Spider to join a clan, as she feared what their fate may be if they continued the life of a loner. Spider followed his mothers advice, only to be killed while crossing a thunderpath. Dust was now nearing the age of eight moons, and her mother was starting to grow distant. Dust was curious about her father and pressed about it, But Splash wouldn't say. This led to Dust believing she never needed to be loved. She wanted her mother to respond to her again, so she attempted to impress her by bringing back the biggest piece of prey she could find. As young Dust set off, she encountered an unknown clans patrol. She was outnumbered, and would surely die. Splash appeared, to see her kit cowering in fear. She fought, but was beaten. Splash was injured, left to die. Dust can't remember much after that, other than much of everything terrified her. The next memories Dust had was at the age of thirteen moons, when she came across a tom cat she saw as a friend. They traveled for quite a bit, growing older. As Dust now nears the age of eighteen moons, the Tom (who's name shall remain unknown for now) expressed he had feeling for her. Realizing Dust didn't mirror these feelings, he left her, and has not been seen since.
So, I like the backstory, it's definitely interesting, but somewhat overused in some aspects.
Likes: Story telling, Swimming, being with cats she holds dear (Which she has none right now. ;-;)
Story telling, I haven't really seem this as a trait of OC's other than the very few Queen and Elder OC's. And I like how she likes to swim, it's kinda a little quirk of her. Can I ask, is she Maine Coon at all by any chance?
Dislikes: Disputes, verbal attacks, dying things, rotting prey.
This is kinda typical, especially of a loner, but I don't see these all the time, and that's good.
Strengths: Being able to sprint long distances, something she has developed through her time of running away from everything. Being able to talk her way out of most situations.
Okay, so that actually makes a lot of sense. Can't take anything away from that.
Weaknesses: The fact she freezes whenever she sees something she deems too bloody, her weak stomach, (Adding to weak stomach: she'll feel very ill if she smells anything that is rotting )
Okay, so that explains the precise addition of 'rotting prey' to her dislikes...
I won't add the extra, because it just said that she had green eyes.
Okay, so I give Dust
85% Original
15% Changeable
