Martina's pov:

I entered my hotelroom. It was pretty big, but since I left the room after arriving from the airport and made up some sleep at the beach, I still hadn't had a look around.
Apart the balcony, obviously.
I started feeling dizzy... And I thought about Jesse's words from before: If you need me, I'm down at the beach.
But now it was too late. The lifeguards end their shifts at 7 pm, now it was 8.25. It is something I've learned from the show. So now nobody will be there anyway, Jesse, Maxi and Matt would be home, dining. Come on Pentel, be like a lifeguard!!! Do all you can to ensure your survival 'til dawn.

I kept repeating in my mind that everything was alright. I kept thinking about Jesse's topaz eyes while sitting out the balcony. I kept my head down. Tried to breathe in and out. I had seen it so many times. After a while I felt a bit better. Even if it was just a minimum.
I opened my eyes slowly and went to bed after having switched on the air conditioning unit of my suite.
I looked in my backpack for the last six vials of Transamin. But I could only manage to break two. With all my might. I started thinking...
I started the water. On cold. Apparently my bathroom was well equipped. I got rid of my clothes and just fell in there.
It was cold. So cold. I felt like I was being squeezed in my weak body. Shit. I felt my pressure rising, and a sudden headache.

Shtht... No, headache... It is the blood. It is running back up. And my Transamin? Ah, ok...

Dream

Sole! Sole! Ich bin Anael. Spiele! Wir... Wir...

Anael ich mag dich! Wir spielen! Du bist die Schöne Prinzessin und ich bin die starke Helferin!!

When I woke up I was still in icy water. The AC was still on. I must have slept... or fainted... or whatever.
I climbed over the bathtub for getting to the bed. The door to the balcony was open. My watch said it was already three.
Only four hours of survival. 'Til they were again here... HELP ME! HELP ME!!
I put something under my feet to help me with the pressure.
How many fu**ing days have passed since the stop?? 24?? Oh, shit!! Again...

Some hours later...
Jesse's pov:
"I have a gut feeling that something today will go so wrong. I don't know."
"What are you talking about?" Quinno. Well, him being a paramedic means I should be safe. Good. He leaves the tower, so now here I'm alone. He's stationed at Backies today.
I focused on the water. I had again the tower shift. Somebody knocked the door.
"Yeah?"
It was the crew. Today they were filming again. I was relieved. Bondi Rescue actually helps us lifeguards. People listen more to us. They set up in the tower.
Benny tells me that another crew is setting up in front of the tower, for interviews. Like the one about the little girl who was scared of her mother's cat. It seemed that Bisho was starring alright.
After some time the crew left me. They were down next to Bisho. But with the girl and the cat??

After a while I heard a squeezed, tired voice. A voice I already heard. And knew so good.

OH GOD! SOLE?!

These here are some notes for a better ubderstanding of the story.
Transamin: vials of antihaemorrhagic for stopping severe bleeding. As in haemophilia.
The dream Martina makes is about playing: Sole! Sole! I'm Anael... Let's play... play...
Anael... I love you... We play .. You're the beautiful princess and I'm your  strong protector.

As usual, read, comment and vote!! 😊
