Imagine #33: Teen Choice Awards with Ethan

It was the day of the Teen Choice Awards. You got ready in your room while Grayson and Ethan waited for you downstairs. You slipped into your white dress as you made your way to your vanity. You put on your makeup carefully, making sure not to get any on your dress. You curled your hair and put it into a messy up-do. You looked at yourself in the mirror one last time before leaving. "Y/n? You almost ready?" You heard Ethan call from downstairs.

"Coming!" you said as you slipped on your heels and headed downstairs. 

You carefully walked downstairs, making sure not to fall. You make it downstairs and see the boys waiting at the door. "Okay, let's go," you said, walking over to Ethan. 

Ethan looked over at you with wide eyes. "Oh my god. You look beautiful," he said with a smile. He gave you a kiss and put out his arm. You put your hand around his elbow and you walked out of the apartment together. 

On the way there, Grayson was really talkative but Ethan was quiet. His hand was gripped tightly on your thigh and his jaw was clenched. "Eth? You okay?" you asked.

He shook out of his daze and looked at you with a smile. "Yeah, just nervous," he said, his voice kind of shaky.

You took his hand and rubbed your thumb on the back of his hand. "It'll be okay, babe. Trust me, you guys are by far the best nominees. You have this in the bag!" you said.

"I love you," he said with a smile, your faces only an inch apart.

"I love you too, handsome," you said and gave him a kiss.

"Okay!" Grayson said loudly, "that's enough."

The two of you laughed and the door of the limo open. "We're here," the chauffeur said. 

"Thank god," Grayson said getting out of the limo before you could laugh. 

Ethan got up, bringing you out of the limo with him. You looked at Ethan and watched his smile grow as the roar of the crowd got louder. The crowd started chanting "Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" and Ethan looked at you with a smile. "Well? Shall we give the crowd what they want?"

You shared a kiss and the crowd went mental. You took a few photos with Ethan and then you waited with Cameron as Ethan and Grayson took pictures together. You and Cam waited for them inside.  After an hour of waiting, the boys finally came inside. Ethan came running up to you with a big smile on his face. "Y/n! Guess what?!" he said excitedly.

"What?" you asked with a smile.

"We won an award! We won a TCA!" he yelled!

You screamed with joy and he hugged you tight into his chest.

"Ethan, that's amazing!"

"They pulled us aside and told us we won. It was so amazing, y/n. I wish you were there," he said, his smile still stretched across his face.

"Eth, I'm so proud of you," you said, giving him a kiss.

The show started and Ethan's hand was on your thigh the entire night. Every now and then he'd sneak a kiss, especially when the cameras were on you. "Why do you keep doing that?" you asked laughing.

"Doing what?" he asked confused.

"Kissing me whenever the cameras film us."

"Because I love you and I want to show the world you're mine," he said looking deep in your eyes. He kissed you again when all of a sudden, you heard the announcer announce Ethan's next nomination. 

Ethan looked at you with big eyes, "Here we go," he said with a smile.

You knew he was nervous so you grabbed his hand and he held on tight. 

"And the winner is... The Dolan twins!" the announcer said. 

Ethan and Grayson jumped up from their seats and you looked on proudly. Ethan turned to you and gave you the biggest hug he had ever given you. "You did it, babe!" you said through the tears. You were so proud of him. 

He cupped you face and gave you a passionate kiss. "I wouldn't have been able to do it without you," he whipped the tears from your face and kissed you one last time before going on the stage. 

Grayson gave his speech and then handed the mic to Ethan. "Wow, I honestly don't know who to thank first. This is such an honour and we wouldn't be where we are without you guys. You guys are the best fans in the world and we love you all so much!" There was a loud cheer and then Ethan looked over at you. "There's a very special girl, sitting over in seat 19E, that I have to give a massive thank you to. In the years that I've known you, you've done nothing but love and support me. Y/n, you're the most amazing girl in the world. I love you, babe. This one's for you!" 

You blew him a kiss and he gave you a wink. The boys walked off stage and you headed backstage to greet them. You saw them giving an interview so you waited in the seating area. You felt two large hands wrap around your waist and a chin rest on your shoulder. "Hello beautiful," Ethan whispered in your ear. 

You turned around and wrapped your arms around his neck. "Congratulations, babe."

He smirked and gave you a kiss. "Did you enjoy my speech?"

"I loved it," you said, giving him a sultry smile. 

"Good," he gave you a passionate kiss and it turned into a heated makeup session. 

Grayson walked up to you two and you heard him gag. "Get a room you two!"

The two of you separated and laughed. "We could get a room if you want," Ethan said winking. 

You playfully slapped his arm. "Ethan!"

"What? It was just an idea," he said laughing.

You walked back to your seats together. The rest of the night, you and Ethan sat with your hands interlocked, both wondering how you got so lucky to have each other.
