I was eating lunch in my kitchen, doing my usual thing, when I got a notification on Twitter. I took a sip of my water as I unlocked my phone.
@EthanDolan: Hey beautiful :)
I spit out my water and rubbed my eyes to make sure I saw it right. Did THE Ethan Dolan just direct message me on Twitter? And called me beautiful? I checked my phone again and it was true! It's the real Ethan Dolan! "Oh my god!" I yelled. "Oh my god." I mumbled, now realizing I have to come up with a response.
Wait. Maybe he got the wrong girl? I have to make sure he actually meant to message me.
@1-800-CANDYQUEEN: I think you may have messaged the wrong person lol
I pressed send and waited a response. He responded immediately.
@EthanDolan: haha! I'm pretty sure this is the right girl. Dulce, right?
Oh. My. God. This is really happening. What do I say? I can't come off like too much of a fan girl- I gotta play it cool. I roll up my sleeves and open the message bar.
@1-800-CANDYQUEEN: Yep! This is Dulce :)
Again, he responded immediately.
@EthanDolan: What's up, Dulce?
@1-800-CANDYQUEEN: Eating lunch, hbu?
@EthanDolan: Chilling with Gray. We just finished this week's video!
@1-800-CANDYQUEEN: Oh awesome! What's this week's video about?
@EthanDolan: Can't tell you :p You'll have to wait for Tuesday haha
@1-800-CANDYQUEEN: Oh come on, please!!!!
@EthanDolan: You're very convincing, but I can't tell you lol
@1-800-CANDYQUEEN: Fine. Be that way haha
@EthanDolan: Okay, fine. I'll tell you... but only because you begged

Ethan told me what this week's video was about and we kept chatting for the rest of the day. Everyday after that, we would talk. We became pretty good friends and I have to admit, I started to have feelings for him. Well, I've always thought he was hot ever since I watched their videos for the first time but this is different. This is the real Ethan- I'm actually talking to Ethan! I can't believe it!
It's been two weeks since Ethan first messaged me on Twitter. We've exchanged phone numbers to make it easier to talk to each other. We've learned a lot about each other and I fell for him harder every day. But I don't know if he feels the same. I want to know so bad but I don't have the guts to ask him out. Right now I'm cleaning my room. With all the texting, I haven't done much cleaning. I was putting my laundry away when I got a text ding on my phone. I dropped all my clothes and ran to my phone... I really like this guy. Of course, it was a text from Ethan.
Ethan: Hey Dulce! How's it going?
Dulce: Hey Ethan! Good! Hbu?
Ethan: It's going great. Listen, we've been texting for a while now and I was wondering if you would want to meet up sometime?
