Imagine #31: You're Cameron's Friend- Ethan

You and Cameron have been friends since before you can remember. The two of you met when you were both on the same soccer team. 13 years later, you and Cam were closer than ever. You and Cam were driving home from soccer practice. You were going to her house to swim to cool down. Cam's jeep pulled into the driveway and you saw the twins playing basketball, shirtless. Butterflies entered your stomach: You've always had a crush on Ethan but you've never told her. You tried not to stare at Ethan's abs but you couldn't help it. 

"Hey Cam! Hey y/n!" Ethan said as you both stepped out of the car.

You and the twins were friends. The four of you would hang out together all the time. You've obviously never told Ethan about your feelings for him cause you were scared it would ruin your friendship.

"Hey guys!" You said while taking your bags out of the trunk. You were too distracted by Ethan's abs and accidentally dropped one of your bags. Ethan immediately rushed over.

"Here, I can help you with those," he said while taking your bags. His biceps grew bigger as the weight of your bags was transferred to his arms.

"Thanks," you said shyly and quickly went inside. 

"We're going to go swimming if you losers wanna join," you heard Cam say from the door. 

You walked into Cam's room and sat on her bed. Ethan came in with your bags. He was sweating and was out of breath.

"What-the-hell-is-in-your-bags," he said between breaths as your bags dropped to the floor with a loud thud.

"It's just my soccer and swim stuff. Maybe you're just out of shape," you said with a smirk. 

"What? Me? No! I'm like way stronger than you," Ethan said in defence.

"Okay... Whatever you say tough guy," you said and took your bathing suit out of your bag and walked into the bathroom. 

You took a while to get ready as you had to look presentable for Ethan. Luckily you brought your new red bikini that was super flattering on you. As you walked out of the bathroom, you saw Ethan walk into his room. "Hey Eth? Are you and Grayson going swimming?" you asked as you walked down the hall.

"Um, I'm not sure," he said, already in his bedroom. You walked into his room and he immediately looked up at you with big eyes. He scanned you from head to toe. You cleared your throat and Ethan snapped out of his gaze. "Oh, um, on second thought, yeah, I think I'll go."

Your cheeks turned pink and you smiled. "Great, I'll see you down there," you said. You walked back into Cam's room to get your towel. On your way out, you noticed Ethan's door was slightly closed. You peaked through the crack and noticed Ethan standing there with just his boxers on. You quickly turned away and ran outside.

You and Cam were laying in the pool on the floaties. "Do you want something to drink? My mom made lemonade earlier," Cam asked you.

"Yeah, sure," you said. 

Cam got out of the pool and you continued to lay on your floaty. All of a sudden, a big wave of water landed on you. After screaming, you opened your eyes to see Ethan laughing, holding a now empty bucket on the edge of the pool. You ran out of the pool and chased him. You eventually caught him but before you could do anything, he pushed you back into the pool. You decided to play a prank back on him. You pretended that you were drowning. You splashed around under water and opened your mouth and screamed, to let bubbles out.

Ethan looked confused and then his eyes went big. He dove into the pool and carried you out of the pool. You looked up at him and saw how nervous he looked. You quickly closed your eyes again before he noticed you weren't actually unconscious. 

"Oh my god," he said, his voice shaky. "Y/n, please wake up! I don't know what to do! Y/n, please!" He cupped your face with his hands and you felt bad so you decided to 'wake up'. 

You opened your eyes. He looked down at you relieved."Y/n! Oh my god I was so wor-" he was cut off by you pushing him into the water. Ethan looked at you with a pissed face. "What the fuck, y/n!" He yelled. You kept laughing.

"Not funny," he said.

"Oh, come on! It was pretty funny. You were all like oh my god, y/n, please wake up," you said laughing.

"I thought you were dying!" he said still pissed. "Can you at least help me back out?" he asked.

You gave in and put your arm out for him. He grabbed it and pulled you in instead. You landed on Ethan and he started laughing. "Okay, fine, I deserved that," you said smiling. 

You noticed you were still against Ethan. You hands were on his chest and his hands were on your lower back. You looked in his eyes and you could feel what was going to happen. Next thing you knew, Ethan's warm lips were pressed up against yours. You stopped when you heard Cam come back outside.

"Took you guys long enough," Cam said, "it was beyond obvious you two had a thing for each other."

You both laughed and Ethan looked at you the way he's never looked at you before. "I've waited for this moment for so long," he said.

"Me too," you said and you two shared another kiss.

"Okay, kids, that's enough," Cam said, clearing her throat.
