Chapter 15
Josh brings his lips to your ear, "You are not leaving me." He hisses. His hot breathe trails down your neck and you shiver. Josh still has you pinned against the wall still. His hands hold your wrist against the cold tile wall and his body is against yours holding you in place.
Your breathe is heavy and so is his. You bite on your bottom lip trying to hold in the scream and tears that are in your throat. This is what Josh does to you. He confuses you so much. Right now you want to run away far, far away from Josh as much as you want to grab his face and kiss him until he is less breathe less than he already is.
Whats the right thing to do though? Run away. Yeah. Before he hurts your more than he already has. Anyways its better for the both of you. Like you said before you are a student in college and he is a big time super star. Your schedules will never work out.
"Get away from me." You grit your teeth and ball your fist.
Josh lets go of your wrist and slams his fist against the wall before moving away from you. "I don't get it Elise!" He tugs at his hair and walks around the tiny bathroom.
"I don't think you-" You get cut off by a guy walking out of a stall. You pierce your lips and he looks at both you and Josh.
He moves in between you and Josh and begins washing his hands. "Seems like you two have quite the problem on your hand." He says applying soap to his hands and scrubbing.
"Were you listening in on you conversation!" You gasp leaning against the wall.
"It's kind of hard not to." He shrugs. "With you and your harsh tone and him just trying to get you to listen to him once."
Josh smiles and when you glare at him it goes away. "I have listened to him and he just never understands!" You tug at your hair and close your eyes trying to block away the tears.
Tears. That all it seems that happen in this relationship. You two are fine, then you argue, you cry, he cries. That how it works. Heats are broken and you are left to rot away while he is all fine in his little celebrity world dating and laughing. Then you are home crying and not being able to move forward. Every time you move forward is seems as though you are taking a step back.
The man wipes his hands and looks over at you, "It would be a shame to see everything that happened with you two go down the drain like the water I just washed my hands with." He says before unlocking the door and walking out.
Josh has his head down and he sits against the sit counter. You clear your throat, "The movie is really good." You voice is barely audible but he gets it.
"Yeah? It was really fun to be in." He smiles but doesn't look up.
You nod you head and look around the bathroom, "So do you really want to talk?"
"Yeah. I have a lot I need to say." He sighs and looks up at you.
You let out a breathe also and turn toward him, "Can we after we finish the movie? I really like it."
A smile appears on his face, "Of course. You can come to my house instead of the dorm room because everyone will be there.
"Yeah." You say a small smile creeping up on your face, "Sounds good."
"Let's go I think the movie is almost done." Josh says opening the door for you to walk out.

"Josh go the red light turned green!" You laugh pointing up at the light. People behind you two beep your horn and Josh steps on the gas. It feels nice. To laugh with Josh like this. You haven't laughed like this in awhile and it feels good.
"I'm going!" Josh snorts gripping the steering wheel as he drives forward.
"You should like a pig!" You squeak covering your mouth with your hand to stifle your laugh.
Josh pulls into his driveway and kills the car engine. "That's because I am." Josh states and pulls his nose up with his fingers. Then you burst out in laughter slapping the arm rest.
"Stop! Don't do that!" You say in between breathes. You hop out of the car and Josh does the same.
"Don't be jealous of my pig powers!" Josh laughed opening up the door of his house.
"I could never be jealous of that!" You explained poking Josh in the chest.
"You are so jealous." Josh walked into the kitchen and you sat on the chair in front of the counter. He grabbed a water bottle from the fridge and took a sip. You glance around the room and your eyes catch the bottle of vodka on the counter. You cringe at the old memories of Josh when he drank that night.
"Have you been drinking?" The words come out quicker than you have planned.
Josh pierces his lips and manages to say "Yeah."
"Why?" Your voice cracks.
Josh leans on the counter and looks down at his hands, "Because I miss you Elise."
You heart skips a beat when he says that and clenches at the same time. You bite on your lower lip and turn away. "I'm sorry." You say and Josh looks up at you.
"Elise, it's not-" He says but you cut him off.
"Josh it is my fault. I left. That's what I did. I ran away from the situation because I didn't think I could handle it. I thought you were better off without me and that I was better off without you." You get up out of your seat and stand up looking directly into Josh's eyes. "But I was wrong Josh."
Josh sucks in a breathe and his eyes burn through your skin. "Elise.." He trails and you put up your hand.
"I'm not done." You close your eyes and still feels Josh's gaze on you. "I was so wrong. I couldn't go a second without thinking about you. Everything reminded me of you. Books, talking, even breathing!" You shriek.
Tears roll down you cheeks and you open your eyes. Josh walks in front of you and just stands there. "It broke my heart to see you on tv laughing and smiling while I was there in my room crying myself to sleep most of the time." Your voice cracks.
Josh gulps," Elise, I wasn't happy. I went back to drinking godamnit!" He shakes his head, "All I could ever think about was you. You, you, you. That's it! That on television was all an act!"
"I was so wrong." You cry. You wipe the tears rolling down your cheeks and shake your head. "Why did I leave you!? Why was I so damn stupid!" You scream. Josh's eyes go wide and he looks down at you. "I always make the wrong decisions! I always think I'm making the situation better and I'm not at all! All I do it make everything worse for everyone! Even Katrina got sick of me mopping around all day that she tried to get as far away from me!"
"That's not true..." Josh says.
"It is! Even Louis got sick and tired of it! People couldn't even stand to be around me Josh!" You cry tugging at your hair more. "Look I even caused you to go back to drinking! I am so stupid!" You shriek.
Josh grabs your face in his hands and you look up at him, "Oh will you shut up." He says before attaching his lips to yours. It takes you a moment to realize what happen but you quickly respond. There it is the fire. His hands move to your waist and yours move around his neck and your fingers get lost in his hair. He quickly spins you two around and slams you against counter top his lips never leaving yours.
Electricity runs through your body and you shiver. He grips you waist tighter and pulls you closer against him. The kiss is full of need. You miss the softness of his lips against yours as both of you fight for dominance.
Josh breaks away from the kiss leaving you breathless. This it was you have missed. It's like he is the ice and you are the fire. Complete opposites but yet you two attract to each other.
You smile and close your eyes. Everything is back to normal. But is it really?..
