Chapter 25
I grab the bowl of popcorn and bring it over to the couch. Josh is searching through movies on netflix to watch. I sit down and curl my feet under my legs, stuffing my face with a handful of popcorn. Josh takes a huff of breathe when he finishes scrolling through all the movies.
"I have no clue what to watch." Josh whines, falling back into the couch.
I eat another handful of popcorn and place the bowl down, "Yeah, because we have basically watched every movie on there."
He groans and grabs the popcorn, "You pick a movie then."
"Hmm," I hum.
I roll over on my seat and straddle his waist. My fingers trace his jaw, and it tightens under my touch. Josh's run up along my thighs until they land on my waist. He pulls my hips forward and my legs wrap around his torso.
"What do you have in mind?" Josh mummers, placing his forehead against mine.
His eyes flutter close and he takes steady breathes. I drag my hands along his chest . His fingers tighten around my waist and dig into my skin. My tiny hands fists his shirt and I bring my lips a few centimeters away from his. "Well I was thinking.." I trail off.
His breathe hitches and he runs his hand up my body until it latches itself around my neck. I pull his body against mine more and run my fingers through his hair. "And what was that?" He whispers, bringing his face closer to mine.
Josh's other hand runs up and down my thigh and I slowly bring my lips to his, kissing him softly. He moves up more on the couch to make the kiss more forceful but I quickly push my hands off his chest and hop off his lap.
"Let's go on a drive, to the beach!" I cheer walking over to grab my shoes.
Josh groans and falls back into the couch, "Fuck, Elise! You can't do that to me." (A/N SORRY NOT SORRY ELISE.)
"Do what?" I ask nonchalantly, putting on my shoes.
He stands up and glares at me, "You know sure enough what you did!"
I smile and skip over to the door, "I have no clue what you are talking about." I yell over my shoulder.
"You little shit." Josh mutters and walks over to the door, "Why are we even going to the beach now?"
I open the door and stroll over to Josh's car, "Because its almost midnight and we are careless people?" I grin.
Josh chuckles and shakes his head, shoving the key into the ignition. The engines roars to life. I buckle in my seat belt. Josh pulls out of the drive way and hums along to the tune that is on the radio.
Josh stops at a red light and his head turns towards, "Don't ever do that shit to me again."
I smirk and divert my attention to the cars passing up outside, "I still don't know what you are talking about."
"You are a pain in my ass." Josh tells and drives forward when the light turns green.

I lay with my back against the cool sand, looking up at the stars above me. The sky is clear tonight, only a few passing clouds here and there. And it seems like the stars are shinning brighter today, than they have been lately.
