"Good," he said, then he pulled out a holy scriptures book and read some verses to me. This dinner is getting more interesting. He leans back as though taking in the music.

I now realize this is not an ordinary day at the lounge. No, the lounge was set aside exclusively for our date. He paid a DJ to play live music while he closed down the place on a Friday night!
My heart is serious working its way out of my chest. Damn! "He is such a handsome man." He reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a diamond bracelet on the table. I heard he was generous, but I did not realize just how generous he is.
"This is for you." He says.I screamed in excitement as I placed the diamond bracelet on my wrist. It was perfect.
Next, the waiter came over to our table with our dinner. I didn't order any food. I glanced at the waiter puzzled.
"I took the liberty of ordering our meal," Prince said leaning forward looking into my eyes with that terribly beautiful hazel eyes of his. He looked as though he was looking directly into my soul. I must say I enjoyed his dinner choice.
After dinner was over, he took me in his arms, and we danced to music played by the DJ, which included Unreleased tracks from his upcoming album.
" I want you to go with me to my late night party tonight, I will be playing at the house of blues. You will be by my side. As for your man, if it ain't me then you need to ask yourself why."
I was blown away by the comment. I was completely speechless, my man? My man who? What will it be like at the after party? What kind of performance would it be? Will he dress in those risque outfits? Will he have the other ladies there? Don't I have to work tommorow? Oh questions questions questions!
