"You and I need a break; you will stay close to Paisley at a place I have set up for you. It is only temporary; I want us to start over. You will still be in my life and I in yours. Please don't be upset. We have no choice but to be apart but do not worry, Nate will be our priority. I think it's best you stay at the apartment until I figure out what's going on here. You can spend two more nights at the hotel. Love you, love God"

I let a tear roll down my cheeks as my phone suddenly started to buzz.

I yelled: "Hello!"

Silence followed.

"Hello, are you there?" I asked getting agitated.

It seemed as though, the person on the other line was unsure of what to say.

"Well if you're not going say anything, then I'm going to hang up" I threatened.

I was just about to hang up when a voice responded:

"Please don't hang up. It is me." I knew in an instant; it was Alicia. Honestly, she is the last person I want to speak with.

"Lose my number," I replied.

"Don't hang-up. Please if only it were that easy. Would you like to meet to talk things over?"

"I don't think that's a good idea and I seriously don't care, Alicia."

"OK, then that's fine. Suit yourself."

She hung up the line, good riddance. But then just when I thought silence for once, as I pondered what to do with myself stuck in a hotel overnight, the damn phone rang once more.

I wanted to scream: "Alica! I swear! Oh my God" but it wasn't Alicia on the line. It was Ethan.

"Alex." He said, in his familiar voice.

It had been to be a long time since someone called me Alex.

Silence followed.

"I am in town Alex. Just a couple of days on business would you like to meet?"

"I don't think that's a good idea."

"Well, Jessica is here with me."

"Why is she with you and why are you calling?" I asked.

"It's a long story, but we should have lunch or meet up sometime this week, I miss you. I forgive you. I have fallen in love."

"I'll think about it, how long are you in town?"

" five days."

"Fine, not making a promise but I'll let you know."

"Cool, let me know, looking forward to your call and just so you know I'm staying over at the four seasons. Room 223."

Unbelievable we are both at the same hotel! Stuttering, I said: "Hmm we will see I have to go. Why are they here? I wondered.

Then I got a text from Slash.

Athena Angel, call me in Minnesota!

I text him back.

What about your tour?

He responded: "Call me and I will tell you all about it."

With all that's going on, pleased to hear from him, I felt ashamed and embarrassed the mess created by me. Dialing his number nervously, I wondered which hotel.

"Hi, Slash!" I said as soon as he picked up my call.

"Sweetheart, The craziest thing happened, we decided to go by commercial jet, and we missed our flight connection. And before you know we are stuck in Minnesota. Damn, we should have traveled by private jet. But you know this is a blessing because I can see you!"
