"Why is everyone here and wearing masks?" he asked rising to his feet raising his brow in annoyance. He turned to look at me, then he helped me up from the floor and quipped: "Answer me!"
At that moment, Francesco comes forward and tries to diffuse the already tense situation.
"If I may, it is an honor meeting you finally your songs were the soundtrack to my life, and you honor me by letting me plan your party, fantastic!"
Prince rolled his hazel eyes at him, exasperated: "What? Honor you?"

I quickly chimed in.
"Hmm surprise honey," I said embarrassed not exactly the reaction I expected from him, he rubbed his palms together and glanced around the room; then without saying a word, he pulled me aside into the adjacent room leaving the party guests behind and began reeling questions at me.
"What were you thinking? Why is everyone in my house? And with masks too, it is not safe! How did you pay for it? Who was that man talking about I honored him? I swear if you were not a girl and I a gentleman, I will kick your arse" he said shaking his head, he was still beautiful in my eyes now; I felt as though I had made a major mistake with this party.
I wanted to tell him to calm the hell down; the guests could hear him.
Besides, I imagined everyone out there in that room happens to be close friends with him.
" I paid for the party with the black card," I said.
"Really? The black card? Well then darling, consider the card canceled, I don't believe you did this," He gaze was direct, and it seemed to bore into me. He continued:
"Listen here you don't know most of the people out there. What the hell did they come here for, hmm? Never mind, I have not spoken to nary half the folks out there in my relaxation room."
"Why in Gods name would you do that, " he said gesturing dramatically, pointing at the door "because that mess out there does not compute."
"I am sorry," I said the tears filling up in my eyes I could barely see. My emotions touched a nerve in Prince's heart because he softened his stance.
