physical harm. And mentions of self harmOne: I'm very uncomfortable using the f word (no not fuck) so I may just pit and 'f' here but know it doesn't mean fuck. Okay? Okay. That didn't make sense.

Dan walked into his prison- er school. Dan hated this place, he hated how eroded and old the walls looked, how the glass windows seemed make him feel like there's less space, how teachers were always in a hurry, how nobody cared, and how people would draw genitalia on his locker.

"Hey f-" Oh that. Yeah. Dan also hated that. The "gang" walked closer to him, Dan groaned. "See guys! What did I say? He just can't stay away!" Everyone snickered thinking he was so funny. Dan stood there emotionless, and rolled his eyes.

"C'mon man let's just get this over with. One tardy mate and I'm suspended." One piped up. Everyone nodded in agreement, except Dan of course.

"Right okay. Dan. Should you walk with us or do we have to force you? I'm tired."

Dan nodded and walked along with them. It didn't matter, at this point the voice inside his head was much more harmful and deadly than Ryan and his 'gang'. Dan walked along the side of the school to the very back.

Worthless.
Weak! What the hell Dan! Fight back!
That's what normal people do!
That's what sane people would do.

"I'm not insane!" Dan whispered. Ryan heard though.

"Oh. Are the voices inside Insane Danny's head bothering him? Does he need comfort?" Well. Actually. Yes, but Dan decided to stay quiet. They all smiled trying very hard to stop from laughing, as if the joke was funny. Ryan walked up to Dan arms spread as if to hug him. Dan took off his back pack.

And here it begins.

--------------

I'm going to be late for class again.
I'm going to have to hide the bruises. Again.
I'm going to have to do this with Ryan tomorrow. Again.
Where's a razor when you need one?

Pain shot through Dan's systems as he tried to get up. Dan bit his lower lip tasting blood. He clutched the grass he was laying on, wondering how he was gonna get up. If he even should get up. He felt throbbing pain every where. He wondered if there was a place on his body that didn't have a bruise. Proabbaly not. Dan stayed still, terrified of the pain he would have to expierence when he gets up and walks to his class. Again.

It's like Ryan said.
You deserve every punch you got
Every name you were called Dan
Every time you were kicked
You deserved it.

Dan secretly knew he did. For wanting to cut himself, for wanting to die, everything.

"I deserve it."

And Dan walked into school. Putting on his jacket to hide the bruises. It was clear it was going to be a long day.

-----------

"Dan!" His mother ran up and hugged Dan whilst he was walking through the door.

"Mum...." he greeted her uncomfortably.

This was not normal. Something is definitely going on.

"Dan throw this on!" She said in hurry throwing him a nice suit.

A/N: auto correct changed 'suit' to 'suicide' should I be worried????

"Mum. What's going on?" Dan asked frozen.

"Well.... Dan." She paused and differed with her fingers. Nervously.

What the hell is going on?

" You're going on a date." She spilled half calmly.

Dan laughed. "That's really weird because I don't remember asking anybody." Dan said his face growing serious and annoyed. Surely she had to be joking.

"Dan. It's a blind date j-"

"WAIT WHAT?" Dan boomed. No way in Hell was Dan going to do that. This was not okay.

So this is what she was hiding.

"Dan. If I let you wear whatever you want will you come to the date?" His mother pleaded.

Dan shook his head. "How about I sea whatever I want and don't go to the blind date." Dan said holding his ground stubbornly.

"Dan you're going either way-"

"Mum-"

"Daniel." His mom hissed. He stayed quiet. "You're going either way. Wearing that-" She said pointing to his clothes. "Or this." She ended pointing to the suit.

Dan took a while to consider all this. "Fine."

-------

Dan was sitting at the booth in a restaurant. Not a fancy one, but not a drive thru, somewhere in the middle. Dan had no idea how long he was wait in, but it seemed like hours.

You should have cut yourself before you left.

"I know." Dan looked down at his watch.

Thirty minutes! I swear to God m-

"Dan?" A girl called out. He looked up surprised and raised his left hand. He guessed his mum told her his name so she could find him.

The girl turned around. She really was pretty. Black hair, silver gray eyes, pale skin, and black eye liner. She wore a black shirt and dark denim skinny jeans with converse. Similar, if not almost exactly like what Dan was wearing. She pulled out her earphones walking towards him.

"Hi Dan. I'm Emily." She told him holding her hand out for him to shake his hand. He did. Nervously.

"What were you listening to?" Dan asked trying to avoid an awkward silence.

"MCR." She replied. Dan had a confused look on his face. "My Chemical Romance...." Dan blinked. "Wait you've seriously never heard them?!" She asked surprised.

Dan turned a little red from embarrassment. "No..." he replied quietly. A smile formed on her lips.

"Put this in." She ordered him handing him an earphone. Dan took it waiting for a song to come on. Music wasn't really his 'thing'. But he decided to give it a shot? What was the worst that could happen? Music started.

The piano keys played. It was actually beautiful how the keys matched each other.

When I was

A young boy

My father

Took me into the city

To see a marching band

He said

'Son when....

Dan's eyes lit up. "This. Is. AMAZING." He nearly shouted. Emily laughed and nodded.

"I know right!"

And to Dan's surprise.... this 'date' thing went pretty well.
