I didn't update last week. I'm sorry. I did have the chapter done, and it was in Dan's POV. But I hated it, it was the worst chapter I've ever written, so I had to re-write and didn't get it done in time. I also had exams.

WARNING ⚠️This is a long chapter!!

Sorry, but here it is:
Two weeks flew by, for Dan at least. After the ring in his room Phil and Dan acted as if the fight never happened, and it worked out for the both of them.

Dan was scrolling on Tumblr, and Phil was talking to his parents, his parents seemed to have a big part in his life. Dan pondered how that might be,but in his case he was happy with he and his moms relationship. Neither gets in each others way, and that's what Dan wants.

"Okay. Love you. See you tonigh-" pause. "Yeah I'll tell him. Okay, okay. Bye." Phil hung up the phone and exhaled. Dan strained his eyes from his computer to Phil.

"What was that about?" Dan asked casually.

"Nothing they want to meet you tonight. Is that alright?" Phil asked.

No.
No.
Defiantly NO.
They're gonna hate me
Better add them with the others
They're gonna ask me to move out
Oh my god

"Yeah sure." Dan continued looking at Tumblr posts. His insides freaking out, but he tried to remain calm on the outside.

"Wanna play?" Phil asked holding up Donkey Kong.

Dan smiled. "I thought you'd never ask."
_______

"THE HELL?! DIE YOU STUPID FFFUUUCCCKIIINNGGG FFFFFFFFFF-" Dan yelled at the game. "WHY ISN'T THE OWL DEAD??!! DIE DANMIT!"

Phil started laughing, his insides hurt and he swore he was going to have abs after this. "Dan... stop... " Phil tried to warn Dan between laughing fits. "We're gonna...." Dan died. Phil laughed harder, causing him ask to die. All their lives were used up the iconic Game Over screen flickered on.

"The game is rigged." Dan stated smacking his controller onto the couch. Phil's laughter was still dying down.

"It's your fault." Phil stated playfully.

"Is not!" Dan argued.

"Yep!"

"No!"

"Yep!"

"No!"

"Yeah!"

"NO!"

"Yes!"

"Nooo."

"No." Phil said, using reverse physiology.

"Yep- I mean- AAAGGHHH!" Dan yelled frustrated, realizing what trap he had fallen for.

"I think you just admitted that it's your fault we lost." Phil stated proudly, as if he was getting an award for his cleverness.

"And I think you just admitted it wasn't your fault." Dan retorted.

"Ah-" Phil stopped himself and thought. "Touché." Phil responded getting up. "It's time to start getting ready, where something nice we're meeting them at fancy place or something like that." Phil added.

"Uh-okay." Dan deadpanned. All competitiveness immediately drained from him, and was replaced with fear and anxiety. His heart starting to pick up it's pace as Dan got up to put on a white polo with a black vest-jacket thing (Dan never knew which one it was) along with black pants with clean black shoes.
________

"You must be Dan!" Phil's mum stood from the table and reached for his hand in a friendly way, and her husband following her actions. Dan greeted them both while giving them a quick smile, as they were readjusting themselves, he shot a quick look of concern over to Phil. Phil just smiled reassuringly and turned his head towards his parents.

"It's nice to finally meet you." Phil's mom said quietly. "So, Dan," she said speaking louder and more confident. "Phil tells me you want to be a lawyer."

"Yeah, I think so." Dan answered honestly.

At this point there's no use in lying.

Dan thought.

"Not enjoying it much?" Phil's dad chimes in curiously, looking at the menu in front of him.

"Just a bit boring right now, but everything does get boring for a bit then picks back up, so I'm just getting through it right now." Dan replied. Phil's parents both nodded slowly, and created an awkward silence while looking at the menus.

Please don't hate me.

Dan silently pleaded.

"Are you guys ready to order drinks?" A female waitress came by. She had light blonde hair in a bun with a red flower in her hair. To the social standards she was pretty, but Dan didn't seem to notice, nor did he try to focus on her.

"Yes. I'll just have a water." Mrs. Lester answered.

"Water."

"Water."

The waitress looked at Dan "Water." He answered.

"Do you need a couple minutes to look over the food?" She asked.

"Yep!" Phil answered quickly. They all stated what they wanted. The waitress again looked at Dan.

"What do you recommend?" He tried to ask casually, but his voice came out squeaky and scared.  She smiled and said some really foreign long dinner title. Dan nodded and said it sounded good handing her his menu saying thank you.

"I'll be right back." She smiled leaving.

"She's pretty is she not, Phil?"Mrs. Lester encouraged Phil. Phil blushed and shook his head.

"No Mum. I want to wait a bit longer before I date again..." Phil trailed off, the atmosphere dimming.

"Why?" Dan asked, titling his head and firing his body towards Phil.

"Emily."

"Oh."

A long silence. Very long silence.

"You guys are really shaken up aren't you?" Mrs. Lester observed. "Maybe you guys should see a therapist."

Dan shook his head. "N-No. T-Therapists aren't r-"

"Or a support group." Phil's dad cut Dan off. Phil's mum nodded her head enthusiastically, and it seemed as if they weren't going to let go of this.

"I'll pay." Phil's mum stated, Dan tried to argue with her (politely) but she wouldn't let it go.

Well.

Dan thought.

I'm going to a support group.
With Phil.
Fun.
