This song just has the absolute perfect vibe of when Maddie first notices Alex. I think this song suits them so well and it is so cute.

Find a Place- Iko

I could see this song fit perfectly when Maddie and Alex are in the woods full of fireflies. This song just describes how they found their own place for just the two of them.

Feeling Sounds- King Vodka, Will Gittens

I could hear this song during one of Brian's crazy frat parties that he throws. It just gives off a vibe of not caring and just living life.

Unbreakable- Jamie Scott

This song describes how Alex feels towards Maddie. She realizes that even though she is tired of fighting with Brian that Alex is her rock and he makes her unbreakable.

The Rules for Lovers- Richard Walters

When Maddie begins to contemplate who decided for them to be together, this song fits perfectly. It even asks who decides the rules for lovers?

Death of Me- High Dive Heart

Maddie realizes that her love for Alex could ultimately be the death of her, but she is perfectly okay with that. Even though the odds are stacked against them, she will fight to the death for him.

Slow Down Time- Us The Duo

This song I think could relate to Brian and Maddie. She is so mesmerized by Brian's eyes and his looks that when she stares at him the world stops.

Ocean Eyes- Billie Eilish

Another song concerning Maddie and Brian. I think this describes Maddie's internal struggle with how emotionally attached she is to Brian. I could envision this song when she sees Brian laying there losing all memory of her. She ultimately realizes that she will never see his "ocean eyes" again and it terrifies her.

To and Fro- Thomston

I could see this song getting played when Maddie realizes that she got herself in this situation at the Soulmate Headquarters. She feels as if her and Alex's relationship is rocky.

Better Me for Me- Audrey Callahan

I think this perfectly describes that Maddie realizes that she is a better person. She ultimately learned how to become a better person and she learned to stand up for herself all because of her drive and emotion to see Alex again.

Skin- Kyla La Grange

This is when Maddie realizes that Olivia is paired with Brian. Even though she is bitter towards her, she ultimately realizes that Brian wasn't worth it and she is done with him.

Bittersweet- ARCHIS

I have to say that this song is absolutely gorgeous. It describes Maddie's own internal struggles. This song is Maddie's deepest thoughts and fears and how tired she is of holding it all in.

Runnin (Lose It All)- Naughty Boy, Beyonce

Maddie's realization of being in her "four walls" of the room in the Roommate Headquarters causes her to realize that if she can't lose herself because if she does, she will lose her fight to see Alex.

On & On- The Sweeplings

Another absolutely gorgeous song. Maddie feels as if she is completely alone after seeing Mrs. Collins and Mr. Bates put Sally going to meet Alex on the big screen in front of her before attempting to kill her.

New Bohemia- Transviolet

This is totally a Megan song. I could envision them trying to escape the place with this song playing in the background. Megan told Maddie that she is the one that can change the game so technically Maddie is the "New Bohemia."

Incomplete- James Bay

I have fallen in love with this song more than any of you could ever imagine. This is the song that I have had in my head for the past year to be placed in the credits if this was made into a movie. This perfectly describes the ending of the book. Just as their love is incomplete, so is the book.
