"I want to ask you something." I told him keeping my voice down.
"Okay, what about? The party?"
"No, about Harry." I said and he looked at me.
"Oh? What do you want to know?"
"Um well, what did you mean when you said 'old harry?'"
"Oh, nothing!" he smiled, "he was just a party boy before he left."
"Was he really?"
"Yeah." he laughed like he remembered something.
"But, he never drank. Like, I remember I never used to see him drink at parties and stuff."
"When you weren't around.."
I slowed down and he removed his hand from around my neck and rubbed the back of his uncomfortably.
"What's that supposed to mean?" my face twisted in curiosity and I was almost afraid to ask.
"Nothing, nothing," he smiled trying to cover up his awkward state, "he just partied like the rest of us. Nothing to worry over, babe."
"Okay." I told him looking over at Harry and Conor who looked as though to be in a deep conversation.
"So, that's it?"
"Yup."
"Alright, I'll see you around." he ran to one of the guys and began talking to them while I walked alone. I knew he was lying; I can tell by the way he was talking and looking at me. The last thing I want to do is ask Harry what Niall meant but 'old Harry' because I know that will start another argument. And all we ever do is argue but I couldn't just drop it. I become curious very easily and I was determined to know what he meant. It might not even be a big deal and I could be over reacting but at least my mind will rest once I find out but until then, it's not.
"Conor!" I called out as we all walked down the halls.
"Yeah?" he smiled turning around and jogging over to me, "what's up?"
"I want to ask you something." I hooked my arm around his and he laughed.
"No, not here." he jokingly whispered in my ear.
"Shut up!" I laughed bumping him with my hip, "I'm serious I have a question to ask you." I looked up to make sure Harry wasn't looking but I couldn't find him anywhere so I took advantage of his absence.
"Remember when Niall said 'the old Harry is back?'"
"Yeah?"
"What did he mean by that?"
He immediately looked behind him than back in front of him and seemed to be looking for someone; and I'm almost positive that it was Harry.
"He used to be a party boy, nothing to worry over, love." he repeated Niall's words.
"Niall said the same thing." I unwrapped my arm from around his ran my fingers through my side bangs.
"Than there's nothing to worry about." he said almost too calmly.
"But Harry looked upset when he said that. He's hiding something."
"No he's not." he replied before I could even finish my sentence, "he's not hiding anything, not from you at least."
"Hmm." I hummed looking forward.
"If you think he's hiding something, which he's not, just ask him."
"I can't do that." I tell him quietly.
"And why not?" he asked curiously.
"Because he'll get mad."
