"That was delicious Harry, you should come to my house and serve me food." Alan joked. Harry laughed and shook his head in agreement.
"Anytime, Crossmen." He handed him the check and picked up the dirty plates and left.
The food was great, like always, and the dinner went very well. Everytime Harry would come by he'd flash me a sweet smile and Alan would wiggle his eyebrows. My mom, on the other hand didn't seem to like him very much.
"Go ahead, mom. Say it." I sighed leaning back.
"Say what?" She asked pretending to be oblivious.
"You know, just tell me. C'mon."
"He's a very nice young man, it's just...the tattoo's are a bit too much don't you think?"
"It's art honey." Alan defended.
"If he likes art, why didn't he just grab a pencil and paper and draw...like a normal person?" She asked.
"Body art darling, body art." Alan wrapped his arm around her neck and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "You don't seem to mind my tattoo's." He smiled towards her.
"Can you not do this please." I practically gagged. They both laughed at my nausea and he pulled away from her.
"Aside from the tattoo's, he seems very nice. He's a gentlemen and I like that."
I felt like she was approving of a boyfriend I just brought home. I felt like things were going a bit too fast. I mean it was a surprising coincidence that Harry turned out to be our waiter but he basically met my entire family. Honestly, ever since we hung out at the mall I've been thinking about him more and more, and the more I think the more I like. He's not a bad person, not like Liam. He's actually nothing like Liam. He's the complete opposite and I like being around him. I like seeing him smile and I love the way he says my name, it sounds perfect combined with his thick accent.
"Are you guys ready to leave?" My mom asked throwing her purse over her shoulder. We all agreed and stood up from the booth. My mom grabbed Ava's hand and began to ask her about her new school while Alan walked beside me while we walked out.
"Go say bye to him." He whispered referring to Harry.
"What? Why?" I replied.
"You can't just leave and not say bye that's rude." He reminded. I saw Harry from the corner of my eye and Alan bumped my shoulder with his.
"Go!" He whispered in my ear.
"I'll see you tomorrow, son. Don't be late." He said shaking Harry's hand after he cleaned it with a small rag. He threw the rag over his shoulder and my God did he look amazing. He had his little black apron on and everything on him looked perfect.
"Oh, and I left you your tip, don't let the other waiters take it." He joked. "Night Harold." He winked.
"Goodnight." Harry soluted. Alan rushed to door and opened it for Ava and my mom and they began to walk to the car. I listened to Alan and stayed behind to say goodbye to Harry. I slowly turned around and smiled trying really hard not to make it uncomfortable. he stood before me with his hands in his pockets and eyes directly on me.
"You have a nice mum." He complimented.
"Thank you, she really likes your tattoo's." I laughed. He smiled looking down at his wrist watch than back at me.
"Are you guys going to do anything?"
"No, I don't think so. I guess we're going home." Alan pulled up in the front and began honking the horn.
