Seventeen Visits

Saturday

10am Athlone, Ireland

Mark woke up to the sound of the pilots voice throughout the plane. He took his earbuds out and looked out the window. His expression showed amazement at the unfamiliar, yet beautiful place that was Ireland.

He, along with other passengers got up and grabbed their luggage from above them. Mark rolled his suitcase out of the plane and took his phone out again. He went back to the chat with Jack's address as he went to hail a taxi.

Mark told the taxi driver the address to take him to and got in the backseat.

Mark: I'm in Ireland guys!!!

Ryan: U R HOLY SHIT

Matt: WE'VE BEEN UP ALL NIGHT WAITING FOR YOU TO TELL US THAT

Felix: YOUR ONLY A STEP AWAY NOW

Mark: I can't wait to see him!

Mark: Omg

Mark: I can't show up empty handed!

Felix: Buy a rose!

Mark: My thoughts exactly! :D

Ryan: THIS IS GONNA BE SO AWESOME

Matt: SEND US A PICTURE WHEN U GET THERE

Mark: I will LOL

Mark politely asked the taxi driver to drop him off at the closest gift shop that was by his original destination. The driver happily obliged and told him there was one only a couple blocks away so it shouldn't be hard to find once he leaves from there.

Mark thanked him and gave him the money he owed along with a tip. He dropped him off and Mark went inside the gift shop. He immediately spotted a cherry red rose at the front of the shop and picked it.

He paid for it and left the shop, walking down the block in search of Jack's apartment. In about 10 minutes, he finally found it. He felt his heart skip a beat as he approached the front door. As he stood upon it, he took a deep breath.

It was 10:25. At this time, Jack was already awake and playing video games on his couch. Luckily, already in pretty decent clothing. His grey Berlin shirt, blue jeans, and some sneakers. Mark rang his door bell.

Jack furrowed his eyebrows wondering who it could have been at that time. It must have been David coming over. He paused his game and got up, walking to the front door. Mark heard the door unlock and his heart raced.

Then the door opened. Jack's mind almost couldn't process what he saw in front of him. He gasped and cupped his hands over his mouth. "Hey beautiful." Mark greeted him with a proud smile. Jack nearly combusted.

"Mark!!" He launched at him, wrapping his arms around him tightly. Mark hugged him back, pulling the rose from behind his back. They pulled away and he held up the rose. "For you." He simply said, his cheeks almost just as red.

Jack's smile grew wider. "Oh, Mark thank you so much! You didn't tell me it would be this soon!" He said, his mind still in shock as he happily took the rose. "I wanted it to be a surprise. Looks like I really surprised you too." He teased, making Jack blush.

Jack leaned up to him and kissed him, just as he said he would. He planted kisses all on his cheeks making Mark laugh. "It feels so good to finally be able to kiss you!" He bounced excitedly. Mark chuckled and took out his phone.

"I told the others I'd give them a picture when I got here."

"They knew??"

"Yup. Smile." He told him. Before he snapped the picture, his turned and kissed his cheek, then he pressed the button. Jack giggled and covered his face shyly. Mark loved hearing his cute laughter right next to him.

He sent the picture to Matt, Ryan, and Felix.

Matt: IT IS DONE

Ryan: YES OMG

Felix: I'M DEAD RN

Felix: THAT IS FUCKING ADORABLE

Mark: He blushes so easily omg it's too cute lol

Ryan: TELL HIM WE SAID HI

Mark: K

Mark: He said he can't believe u guys knew about his XD

Ryan: BELIEVE IT BBY

Matt: SO FUCKIN TIRED BUT TOO HAPPY TO SLEEP

Felix: SAME

Mark: Lol well I gtg he really wants me to come in the apartment lol

Felix: BYYYYE

Ryan: HAVE FUN

Matt: DON'T BE TOO LOUD

Mark: Stfu XD

He put the phone down in his pocket and rolled his suitcase inside. It looked really nice for an apartment. He must've really liked to keep it clean. "Sorry if it looks kind of messy. I didn't know you were coming so I didn't really do anything to it."

Jack said, putting his rose into a vase full of water. Mark raised an eyebrow. "This is messy?? It looks like you clean twice a day!" He said as he looked around. "I'm a lazy, but tidy, Irishman."

"And tiny..." Mark added. "I'm not that small!"

"You're itty bitty! Like a little plushie!" He picked him up by the waist and noticed how light he was. "Have you eaten??"

"Marrrk put me down ya big doof!" Mark laughed and did as he told. "And I'm not that light you're just really strong!"

"Nah you're a string bean." Jack growled at him to seem intimidating. But really it just came out as a cute pouty growl. "That's adorablllle. Grumpy duckling." Mark teased him again.

He kissed his cheek. Jack wrapped his arms around him again and Mark held him close. "I'm so happy you're here." He said into his chest. "Me too. I get to hug my duckling all I want now. At least for a few days."

"Nooo stay with meee." He said in a babyish tone. "I wish I could, duckling but I can't. Let's make these days last. First I need to get used to this time zone because holy shit."

"Oh my god that's right. It's like 2am for you!"

"Yeah but don't worry. I slept through 8 of the 9 hours of the way here. Surprised I didn't get jet lagged." He stretched, allowing them to part. "So where's the trouble maker?"

"Gizmo? Come here Gizmo!" Jack called. Gizmo pushed Jack's recording room door open with his nose and ran up to him. "I don't think he's horny right now." He laughed. "Awe he's so cute! Just like his owner." He kneeled down and petted him.

Jack smiled at the compliment and how he pet him. "Thanks Markimoo." Gizmo lied down on his back wanting more attention. "Um...Jack."

"Yup."

"His thing is um..."

"OH MY GOD EWWWW. DOGGY DONG. EEEWWW! PUT IT AWAAAAAYYY."

Jack blocked his eyes. Mark laughed and flipped Gizmo back over on his four paws. "Go back from wence you came!! Horny toad!" Mark demanded, pointing to Jack's recording room. Gizmo whined and walked into the room.

"I did not think that would work."
