Open letter to all the girls out there

"Most of the time, we tend to look for the perfect guy. Someone who'll bring us flowers, somebody who would make us smile whenever we're not fine, somebody who can cross the ocean just for us to feel satisfied, someone who can be our trophy, someone who's an arm candy, in short, someone who can meet our ""boyfriend goals"" expectations. And me, myself was also guilty of this crime. One thing I learned when I met someone who is so way out of my league was, all of the lists you have in your head about your ideal boyfriend will all be gone when the moment the most unexpected person you'll never thought you'll be with came in to your life. I know that there are still men out there who love to shower their ladies with gifts and such, but when your man doesn't do that to you, why be mad and search for another guy? You chose that person, you know his personality and yet you tend to expect or search for things you know he'll never do. Why not just accept the fact he's like that and be contented with the things he's doing for you? Sometimes, we don't appreciate the little things, the unexpected hugs, that sudden moment when he grabs your hand and kiss it in public, those times when your sleeping together and him half asleep grabs you and pulls you closer and a lot more things you disregard to notice just because you are so drowned by the ultimate fact that he is not the kind of perfect boyfriend you see on Facebook.

Remember that affection is always better than perfection and doesn't mean he doesn't love you the way you want him to, he loves you any less."
