Ponytails and Broken Gear

Sapphire: Emrald! We have two dares.

Emrald: *ears twitch* what are they, we got training today.

Sapphire: one of them is that Amethyst has to keep her hair in a ponytail for three months.

Emrald: seems easy enough. What about the other one?

Sapphire: you need to mess up Ruby's gear and not say anything until the end of this chapter.

Emrald: *tail fluffs up* WhAt?!?!?!?!?! I can't do that to perfectly good gear!

Sapphire: you know you can fix it afterwards, right?

Emrald: I know, but it's Ruby's gear. She'll shatter me if I mess with it.

Sapphire: I won't let her.

Emrald: I guess I can make it up to her for fixing it.

Sapphire: good

Emrald: I'll go do it right now. *warps to Mask Island*

Sapphire: and I'll tell Amethyst her dare. *warps to the barn* Amethyst! You got a dare.

Amethyst: what is it?

Sapphire: you need to keep your hair in a ponytail for three months.

Amethyst: fine *puts hair in a ponytail*

Sapphire: good, now get Peridot and whoever else is in there. We got training.

Amethyst: ok *runs back into the barn*

~3 minutes later~

Amethyst: got em.

Peridot: *has blood on her nose*

Ruby: you should have seen Peridot when she saw Amethyst. *snickers*

Peridot: it wasn't funny! *wipes blood away*

Amethyst: it was kinda funny *kisses Peridot on the cheek*

Ruby: are we gonna be using the actual gear today?

Sapphire: yes, so we have to go to Mask Island. Emrald will be there with the gear already.

Peridot: I'm excited.

Amethyst: yeah, it looks fun when we saw Emrald using that gear.

Sapphire: it really does.

Ruby: it's fast too.

Peridot: enough talking, lets go to Mask Island.

Amethyst: get on the warp pad then.

Peridot: oh, right. *steps on warp pad*

*warps to Mask Island*

Amethyst: the other's are here already, we better hurry.

Ruby: *picks Sapphire up* this will be quicker.  *runs toward the other's* there we go.

Emrald: *ears flattened*

Ruby: *gets hit with rock* ouch.

Emrald: now I don't feel sorry as much as I did before.

Steven: can we start now?

Emrald: yes. This is the gear that we will be using today.

Pearl: how do we put it on?

Emrald: it can be tricky at first, but you get used to it. Let me help Steven and Connie into their gear, watch carefully. If you still need help, just ask. *helps Steven and Connie into their gear*
