Can I Have A Sandwich?

I peered into the kitchen and saw Lay cooking...like a 5-star chef...with fire and everything. I was intrigued and fearful of disturbing him. I was entranced. I forgot what I came in there for...Then my stomach gurgled...freakishly loud.

Lay stopped everything he was doing and jerked his body around. "Oh! Ara! You scared me. Have you been standing there long?" He asked with flushed cheeks. "N-no...I was just surprised by the large cooking scale...You're incredible..." I said with wide eyes.

Lay laughed shyly and continued his cooking. "Did you need something?" He asked me and he began turning down all the stove eyes he was using. "CJ wanted me to see if you could make me something to eat..." I said awkwardly. "Did he now? Well...Cafe Lay is open for business...What can I get you?" Lay asked, turning to face me, throwing a hand towel over his shoulder and seductively leaning against the counter. "Can I have a sandwich?" I asked simply.

All that impressive cooking I witnessed and all I can think to ask for is a sandwich. What's wrong with me?

Lay laughed at me, showing off his adorable dimples. I felt my cheeks turn pink as he turned his back to me and began plating a BLT like a pro. The entire time his hysterical laughter could be heard. It was infectious and I began laughing to myself for no damn reason. He sat down a sandwich I would willingly pay $20 for in front of me...That's how nice it looked. "Anything else? Maybe a little stir fry like what I was making just a second ago?" He kept laughing. "Do you want me to make you look stupid the next time you go on TV?" "No...Why would you do that? I am an angel to you." "Quit laughing at me then...You're acting like Chen." I pouted slightly. "I'm sorry...It's just...You came in here and saw me cooking with literal fire and all you asked for was a sandwich...That's hilarious." He laughed obnoxiously loud and started wheezing a little.

I ate my sandwich while glaring at Lay who just could. Not. Stop. Laughing. Every time he'd calm down a little, he'd look at me, enjoy my sandwich and start laughing again.

I finished my bomb ass sandwich and shook my head at Lay who was still struggling to stop laughing. "I'm gonna smack you." I said seriously. "I'm sorry. I really am..It's especially funny because CJ came in here and did the exact same thing as you. It's adorable." He choked out in between laughs. "Did you laugh at him as much as you're laughing at me?" I shook my head in complete disapproval.

Lay took a really deep breath and finally managed to stop laughing. "I didn't laugh at him this much. I think as long as nobody asks for another sandwich I'll be fine." He chuckled one last time. "Butt wipe." I mumbled. "CJ's a pretty cool kid. He sat in here and talked with me for a little bit." "How'd that go?" "I may or may not have ruined his bias list." Lay started laughing again. "I'm getting tired of that laugh." I said seriously. "Please never stop laughing. It's heavenly." I thought to myself and quickly shook that thought away.

The door to the kitchen opened and CJ came in and sat at the table with me. "Exo giving you a headache yet?" "Just Suho and Kai." CJ said putting his head down. "Why is Lay-Hyung laughing so hard?" "Sandwiches." Lay wheezed out through his laughter. I covered my face and shamefully started laughing with him. "Is this some weird inside joke or something?" CJ said uncomfortably. "It's nothing. Do you wanna go to grandpa's for your birthday tomorrow?" I asked, quickly calming myself down. "Tomorrow? Didn't Suho-Hyung say he wanted to take you out tomorrow?" Lay asked CJ. "He did..." CJ looked up at me with reluctance written all over his face. "No. No. No." "I couldn't turn him down mom." "No." "Just let him take us out for breakfast then we can spend the rest of the day at Grandpa's." CJ pleaded with me. "I don't wanna deal with Suho that early..." CJ had the biggest puppy dog eyes ever. "Ugh. Fine. If that's really how you wanna start out your birthday."

Lay's laugh honestly gives me so much life.
