Chen is Gonna Miss Me.

I waited and waited for CJ and Yixing to emerge from the kitchen. I smelled ramen...like really good ramen...like really good, home cooked ramen. It made my mouth water.
After an hour of them being in the kitchen, they finally came into the living room with 3 bowls of ramen. "It doesn't take that long to make ramen." I scolded them. "You know how I am...I can't focus for the life of me." Yixing laughed Innocently.
We took the pillow fort down and ate lunch in the living room together...like a family. CJ sat between me and Yixing as we watched Running Man.
Around 7, CJ ended up falling asleep.
Yixing smiled down at CJ then at me. "I wish it could be like this all the time." Yixing whispered, being mindful of my sleeping child. "Like what?" I asked, honestly only halfway paying attention. "Like we're a family...obviously. I like the feeling this feeling." He got my full attention and my whole heart with those two sentences. "Do I open up about how much I love him now? It seems like the right time..." I had another poorly timed inner monologue. "Everything feels complete." I mumbled.
Yixing didn't say anything but only smiled wider.
He quietly stood up, grabbing all of our dirty dishes. "Let me help you." I said, standing and trying to take a few dishes away from him. He jerked away. "Sit down. I got it." He scolded me. "Let me help you." I protested. "No. Sit down. I got this." He said taking the dishes into the kitchen.
He came back and kissed my forehead. "Want me to put CJ to bed?" He asked. "If you want to." I smiled.
Yixing carefully picked CJ up and carried him to his bedroom. I followed him and watched intently as Yixing tucked CJ in. I kissed CJ's forehead and whispered a 'goodnight' in his ear.
Yixing and I walked back into the living room. "When are you going back to the dorm?" I asked, not wanting him to leave but at the same time, not wanting him to get in trouble.
"I guess I should get going pretty soon. I wouldn't want us getting in trouble." He said, clearly not want to leave either. "I guess I'll see you at work then." I smiled, hugging him tightly, my arms locked firmly around his neck. He wrapped his arms just as firmly around my waist.
We stood like that for what seemed like forever. "Chen is gonna be mad if I don't leave soon." He laughed, pecking my lips. "Alright." I laughed with him. "I'll bring CJ by tomorrow if I'm not busy, okay?" I said as Yixing walked to the door. "Can't wait. See you tomorrow babe." Yixing left and I laid down on the couch, eventually falling asleep.

I wrote this during the commercial breaks of Walking Dead.
I gotta say my phone was blowing up with wattpad notifications while I was writing this and it made me feel so good omg.
I'll try to get at least one more chapter typed up tonight.
