Shindo was my older brother who adored spending as much time with CJ as possible because it made him look better when it came to finding a girlfriend...Something he never has been or ever will be good at. Just so happens that Shindo and I don't look alike because I was also adopted. This wasn't the first time Shindo had been mistaken as my husband and I'm sure it wouldn't be the last.
Suho pulled out his phone again. "So it was your brother and nephew?" Suho asked me as I noticed him pull facebook up. "I believe that's how a family tree works..." I said, praying Shindo never referred to CJ as his nephew. I'm in deep shit if he does.
Suho looked at me suspiciously after scrolling through my brother's photos. "Can I help you?" I smarted off. "Any reason why your brother says that this little boy is HIS nephew?" "Shindo is a raging alcoholic..." I lied. "Ara." Sehun sassily entered the conversation. "What?" I whined. "Are you a single mother?" Suho questioned me, sounding more and more like my mother with every syllable. "No?" I said rather questionably, unable to look Suho in the face. "Liar!" Baekhyun yelled, pointing a finger at me. Everyone gave me looks of shock. "Yes or no child? Are you a mother?" Kai yelled at me. "First of all...I'm older than you...and second of all...So what if I am?" I gave up, knowing there was no way my sly ass could lie out of this situation. "Ara...This kid looks like he's almost 10...You're like 24...What the hell?" Suho got all bug eyed and his voice broke a little. "Relax...I didn't give birth. I adopted him." I rolled my eyes.
"Well...now that we know you have a son...you gotta tell us about him!" Sehun cheered. "Ugh! Do I have to?" "What...do you not like doting over your son?"Kai laughed at me. "I love doting over him.There is a lot to dote over. He is a remarkable child." "What's his name?" Chanyeol asked. "Chung Jae. He prefers CJ though." "How old is he?" "His 9th birthday is actually this weekend." I mumbled that detail. "How come you've never mentioned him before?" Suho crossed his arms and scolded me. "To avoid what all of you are doing right now." I said bluntly. "What's he like?" Lay asked me. "Is he bossy and demanding like you?" Chen scoffed. "I will have you know...I only boss all of you around the way I do because all of you are immature 3 year olds with too much power!" I yelled. "CJ is a very sweet kid. He is shy and reserved, he loves cooking, dancing and is very smart...He's skipped 3 grades." "Three?!" Everyone yelled. "He's a genius." I smiled, thinking about my son. "I wanna see pictures!" Xiumin exclaimed. I shoved my hand into my pocket to get my wallet that held several pictures of CJ. "How old was he when you adopted him?" "He was 6." I said, reminiscing about the day I adopted him. "If he was 6 when you adopted him...then how do you have baby pictures?" Sehun questioned, raising an eyebrow at me. "The orphanage gave those to me." I smarted off. "I wanna meet him!" Suho cheered. "No." I said firmly. "Why not?!" Everyone whined. "I said so!" I crossed my arms. "You aren't any fun." Suho started pouting. "Ugh fine! I'll tell my brother to drop him off here after school!" I rolled my eyes and texted my brother.
"Is CJ a fan?" Kyungsoo asked me abruptly. "Well...he can recognize all of yall's voices better than me and name all of you with your superpowers and has the tracklist to every album memorized...so...kinda." I said, reluctantly admitting that my child is a major fanboy. "Who's his bias?" Chen laughed.
