"What?!" Yixing said, matching my tone of utter excitement. "I got approved to adopt another child!!" I scrame in pure joy. "Really?" Yixing said in shock. I nodded, trying to suppress my happiness.
"Thats great! I'm so happy for you!" Yixing cheered. I looked at him for a minute. "Yixing, don't you get it? We get to adopt a child...together." I smiled.
Yixing's eyes grew wide and his hand moved up to his mouth to cover it. He looked like he was about to cry. I took both of his hands in mine and looked him in the face. "Would you like that?" I asked softly. He took a deep breath and looked up at the ceiling. He looked back down at me and nodded, biting his lip as a few stray tears tumbled down his cheek. "I would love that." He said, hugging me tighter than he'd ever hugged me before.
"I love you Ara." He whispered into my ear. "I love you too, Yixing." I stood up on my toes to whisper in his ear. "When can we get married? I want it to be as soon as possible. I want us to start our family as soon as possible." He said in a rather needy tone. "We better get to planning then." I smiled against his chest.
Me and Yixing sat down on the couch and began planning our wedding. We agreed on having a very small one with just our families present. "How soon can your family fly in from America?" Yixing asked me, already texting his mom. "Pretty quick...How soon can your family be in from China?" I asked, texting my dad. "Pretty soon." He smiled.
We had everything set.
We were to get married next week with only our families in attendance and 0 press.
My life was changing before my very eyes and I was honestly to happy to even realise that in less than a month, I was getting married. It just felt so right. Being with Yixing made me feel the way no one has ever made me feel. Words could not describe how right things felt and how happy I was being with him.
"Are we really getting married next week?" I smiled to myself. "It would seem so. My mom said she's told everyone and they're buying plain tickets right now." Yixing laughed. "My dad said the same thing. Apparently, my 92 year old great grandma said she would swim to South Korea if that's what it took to see me get married." I laughed. This book is so stupid...How have you even made it this far?
