"Guys come on we gotta go!" I yell as I run upstairs to wake Zayn up. We had over slept and if we were going to make it to our flight on time we had to leave in the next thirty minutes or so. I knew how Zayn was as well when it came to waking up. He always took a ten minute shower, five to get dressed and five to eat. So that left us with about ten minutes to pack the car.
His room was at the end of the hall to the left I think. I couldn't remember since its been a while when I was last here. "Zayn get up!" I say as I open up the door rushing in but I'm stopped short when I see someone standing in just their boxers and it wasn't Zayn.
"I...uh.." I start to stutter as I quickly look at the ground my face turning a slight shade of red. I knew exactly who I had walked in on.
I can hear him shuffling around probably for pants before his voice fills the room. "Sorry, didn't think anyone would be coming in." He says laughing a bit to himself.
"It's my fault. I thought this was Zayn's room..sorry Liam." I say looking back up at him. He was still shirtless but he had pulled some pants on at least.
He shakes his head giving me a gentle smile. "Don't worry about it but Zayn isn't in his room. He's been outside packing the car up." Liam says as he walks past me to the bathroom only to return shortly with a shirt in hand.
"Oh, well then why did he let me sleep so late?" I question.
He just shrugs his shoulders before pulling the shirt on over his finely toned body. "Said something about letting you sleep a bit more." He says as he runs his hand through his hair fixing it a bit. I just nod looking his body up and down. He had a plain white tee that clung to every muscle and a pair of jeans that hung just below his waist. He looked pretty damn good actually but I quickly shake those thoughts from my mind when I hear my name being called.
"Ri we gotta go!" Zayn calls from downstairs.
"Come on, I'll walk you out." Liam says happily gently grabbing my hand pulling me out of the room with him. I wasn't use to him being this nice to anyone. I mean he always seemed like the badass type who didn't give a fuck about others.
"Thanks.." I whisper following close to him as he still held my hand. I didn't try to pull it away and I didn't know why.
We make our way down the large flight of stairs holding a small conversation with one another. Well trying to at least, it was a bit awkward really.
"So..are you and.." Liam starts to say but I knew what he was asking so I cut him short.
"No, I told him we needed time." I simply reply as his grip tightens a bit on my hand. I glance up at him and notice that his eyes seem to be filled with a small glint of hope. I wasn't entirely sure what that hope could be though.
We continue our way down the stairs in silence and soon reach the bottom to find Zayn leaning against the railing on the phone. I frown a bit when I hear his tone of voice. Something was wrong and it seemed to be serious. I stop Liam and I before we reach him. I didn't want to bother him at the moment so we just waited.
"No you don't understand!" Zayn snaps at whoever is on the other end.
"You can't just-"
"Right but this isn't-"
"Would you listen to me for once!" He yells out after being interrupted more than once.
"Of course, I'm sorry but I just-" Zayn lets out a frustrated groan as he shoves his phone back into his pocket. The person must have hung up and whatever they said to him wasn't leaving him in good spirits.
