Trust { Niall Horan }

Chapter 11

Six months had passed since I left my fathers house and I had spent four months living with Niall and Jase until I had saved up enough to get an apartment myself. The place I was staying in just so happened to be in the same apartment complex as Niall.

My apartment was a two bedroom with a full bath, decent sized living room and the kitchen was pretty nice too. My living room was decorated in light colors just to brighten it up some.

My bedroom though was different, the bedspread was black and white, the rug was black along with the curtains also aside from the white that was thrown in there. I hated having lots of light in my room.

I thought I did pretty well on my first place, not to mention Niall and Jase helped me get it. They always told me they didn't mind having me stay but I would feel like a bother from time to time.

I had grown rather close to both of the boys but especially Niall. Whenever he wasn't doing something with Jase we were always together. Niall and Jase were the only two people who I fully trusted and it took them about three months to fully gain it.

I had learned many things about Niall, like how he absolutely loved music. His favorite food was pizza and tacos, oh not to mention pancakes. His favorite color was green, his only actual family was Jase since him and his mum didn't get along.

He lived in Ireland for most of his life until his family had decided to move here, Jase's family moved here with them from Ireland also. Niall also had a temper but he was working on it. He would be 23 soon and I'd be 22. Overall he's a pretty sweet guy who I've grown to take a deep liking to.

I've ran into my father a few times since I left but each time either Niall or Jase was with me so he didn't try to say anything. I honestly didn't care for how he was doing, I'm beyond glad he's not in my life anymore. Being able to go through life without being beat every single day is great.

"Where the hell is it??" I grumbled as I dug through my closet. I was looking for my hoodie to pull on but I couldn't find it. Niall and Jase were gonna be here soon so we could leave for school. Seeing as I couldn't find it I texted Niall, "Hey could I borrow a hoodie? I can't find mine 😭"

I set my phone down and decided to fix my hair while I waited for them. My hair was wasn't really curly or straight, it was kinda in between so most days I would just straighten it all out. "Yeah, I'll bring my grey one since I know it's your fav 😝 we'll be down in a few. I assume your door is unlocked for us like usual." Niall had texted me back but I didn't respond though since I knew I needed to finish my hair.

It wasn't too much longer after the message when the two are entering my house. "Hey Ri! We're ready whenever you are!" Jase shouts as I hear him going through my fridge.

I finished up hair and put on some make up before walking out to the two. I had decided to wear leggings along with my bobs. I just needed the hoodie now from Niall. I pulled a tank top on real quick before I walked out. "Jase, don't eat all my food this time." I say to him jokingly as I walked over to them.

He grumbles something I couldn't quite understand but I ignore it when Niall hands me the hoodie. "Here ya go Ri Ri." He says grinning at me, he was adorable. "Thanks!" I say happily giving him a hug after I pulled it on. The grey Nike hoodie was a little big on me but I didn't mind really. It was soft and warm and smelled exactly like Niall.

While Jase was stuffing his face Niall had pulled me aside so it was just us two. "So uh I was wondering if I could take you on a date after classes today? We only have two and they're both morning classes so I figured we could spend the rest of the day together but if you don't want to we don..." He was rambling on, something he did when he was nervous but I decided to interrupt him this time. "I'd love to go on a date with you Horan." I say smiling widely at him. I would change into something else for the date and I had the perfect outfit in mind.

"Come on let's get going before Jase eats everything in my fridge." I say laughing as I walk off to tell Jase we're leaving now. Today was going to be a great day, I could feel it.

We were only 30 minutes into class when Liam decided to test my patience today. I honestly didn't understand why he bothered when he knew Niall and Jase would automatically come to my side once he spoke.

"So what are you to Niall and Jase now? A fuck buddy or something?" He says as a smirk creeps across his face and this cause me to roll my eyes in amusement. "And even if I was I bet they're better in bed than you." I retort making everyone around me start to laugh and yell burnnnnn at Liam.

After that he gets up clearly embarrassed and excuses himself from the class. No one thought I had it in me to stand up for myself but having two guys as my best friend has paid off a lot.

The rest of the class along with the next one went by pretty quick after that. Once the professor told us we could go home I packed up all of my things and walked out into the hallway with Jase to wait for Niall.

I scanned the crowd for him and finally I found him but my eyes landed on the red head who was clinging onto his arm trying to get him to look at her. "Fucking hell." I curse glaring at Avery before I shove my bag over to Jase. "Hold this." I snap as I walk over to where the two are.

I don't say anything as I walk up to them, I just grab Niall by his hand and pull him over to me before I crush my lips against his, wrapping my arms around his neck. Niall was kissing me back at his point with his arms wrapped gently around my small waist. We weren't official but he was mine and I'd be damned if I was going to let this bitch hang onto him.

Avery lets a shocked gasp escape her lips as she looks at us and all I could do was grin as I kissed Niall. Jase could be heard laughing his ass off from across the hall and everyone else just stared at us.

I gently pull away from him smiling before turning to the red head, "If you could kindly fuck off that would be lovely." I spat at her lowering my voice. Niall just stands there shocked watching me and Jase had made his way over to us now.

"And if I don't?" Avery challenges stepping closer to me and this causes me to laugh. "Or I'll have to kick your ass of course." I say to her making Jase choke on his drink. Him nor Niall had seen me get like this before.

Avery seemed to be weighing her odds before she said anything. "Any day now princess." I snapped growing impatient with the slut. A group of people had gathered around us at this point and Liam was in the middle of them. "What the hell do you want Payne?!" Jase and Niall growled at the same time before I could say anything.

Liam lowers his eyes and walks over to Avery, "Come on it's not worth it." He says softly to her gently tugging on her arm. "Yeah sure." She grumbles before walking off with him, not long after the crowd of people disperse.

I turn to Niall and Jase now who were both just staring at me, "what're you two looking at?" I questioned them curious. "Oh uh nothing.." Jase stammers before he looks away from me clearly not sure what to say after what happened.

Niall begins to chuckle softly before he pulls me closer to him and places a kiss on my nose. "You're adorable when you're pissed." He says to me causing me blush a little as I playfully hit his arm. "Oh hush up Horan. Let's head home, I need to change for this date of yours." I say to him smiling, slipping my hand into his.

"Alright, come on Jase baby." He says pushing his best friend jokingly trying to lighten his mood. "Hey now don't go calling me baby in front of Riley. It's embarrassing." Jase says laughing before he starts to skip down the hall toward the exit.

"He's something else isn't he." I say to Niall shaking my head holding back a light giggle. Niall nods laughing softly watching Jase skip around, "yeah he is but I wouldn't trade him for the world." He says as he suddenly lifts me up and puts me on his back.

I shriek slightly being caught off guard by the sudden movement but I realize he's giving me a piggy back ride. "Alright let's get going so you can get your beautiful self ready." Niall says smiling before he takes off in a light jog to the car. Who would've thought I'd be as happy as I was in this moment.

A/N: The next chapter is gonna be a sweet one (: I might post it tonight when I get home but that all depends on what time I get done with it.
