The next morning I woke up in a pool of sweat in my bed. I had a fever. Of course I'd be the one to get sick for being out in the rain. I force myself up to see if I have medicine to calm my fever down.
As I'm rummaging through the cabinets I hear knocking at the door. I go over to check it and I see that it's Jase at the door holding a bag.
"I brought you soup and some medicine" He says smugly as I open the door for him.
"Thaaaannnkkss but how did you know I was sick" I say dragging out the word as I take the bag and let him walk inside.
"Well Niall is sick so I figured if he is sick then his girly friend must be sick as well." He says shrugging his shoulders walking over to my kitchen. He was searching through my cabinets for something and I knew exactly what it was.
"The oreos are in the fridge and the peanut butter is in the cabinet to your left." I say to him walking over to the counter so I could take the medicine and re heat the soup Jase had made.
I took the medicine and put it up in the cabinet for later. The soup was pretty good as well, it was potato soup which was my favorite. "How's Niall anyways?" I ask Jase looking over at him to see him shoving his face full with oreos and peanut butter.
"Slight cold, he'll be fine." He mumbles with his mouth full causing me to laugh a bit. I always had to make sure I had oreos and peanut butter stocked in the apartment for Jase. He was the only one who ate them together and loved them that way for some odd reason.
I just nod and walk off to my bathroom to take a quick shower. I felt dirty since I woke up drenched in sweat. Jase knew where everything was so I knew he'd be fine for a bit. I was hoping this shower would help break the fever that I had.

I had finished my shower and slipped on some sweats and a t-shirt which just happened to be Nialls. I threw my wet hair up into a messy bun and walked back out to Jase. He was now sitting on the couch playing on the PS4 I had.
"Have you played Black Ops 3 yet??" I ask him sitting down beside him. He was currently playing an Uncharted game and doing badly at it if I might add.
"Yeah but Niall won't let me play it until he's beat it." He says frowning still focusing on the game before him. Of course Niall wouldn't let him play it yet.
Just as I was about to say something to him I heard a phone go off. It wasn't mine so I assumed it belonged to Jase. "Hey Ri could you get that for me??" He says not once looking away from the game, typical boy.
His phone was sitting right beside him but he was too distracted to even look at it. "It's some girl named Makaylah, she wants to know if you still want to hang out tonight." I say to him repeating the text message she had sent him.
"Oh...uh..yeah. Tell her I'll meet her around seven." Jase says a bit shyly which confused me. He was never like this but I'm guessing it's because of this girl.
"Does someone have a crushhhhh?" I say to him pushing him jokingly. Jase had always had flings from time to time and none of them became something serious so I wasn't sure about this one.
Jase just shakes his head at me smiling, "I know what you're thinking and this isn't some fling." He says before taking his phone from me.
I just give him a simple nod. I believe him. "Well it's already four in the afternoon. Do you have any idea where you're taking her?" I ask plopping down beside him on the couch. I had started to feel a bit better, thank god for the medicine and soup he brought.
"I'm not sure really. I wanted to ask her out tonight but I'm not sure where to take her." He rushes out blushing a bit. He must really like her if he's is nervous and blushing.
"Okay then, do you know what her favorite food place is?" I ask him trying to come up with a date idea for him.
"Err... she doesn't have one" He meekly states looking away from me now. I wasn't use to seeing Jase like this.
"What kind of girl doesn't have a favorite food place?" I say a bit surprised, I mean everyone has a favorite place to eat. It's food.
"The one I'm head over heels for..." Jase mumbles to himself thinking I didn't hear him but no Jase boy I caught you. But I'll let it slide....for now.
"Well apparently she doesn't have a favorite food place which makes this 198363608 times harder." Jase says throwing his hands up in the air clearly getting annoyed.
Jase got up and started pacing back and forth at this point. "I mean what if she rejects me? What if I'm not good enough for her? I really like her Riley." He starts to ramble and stress his self out.
I instantly hop up and walk over to him, "Jase stop it." I say grabbing his hand to make him stand still. "She won't reject you. You're an amazing person and she'll be more than lucky to have you." I say giving him a soft gentle smile. He really was a great person and friend.
Jase takes a small breath before looking at me. "Are...are you sure?" He asks shyly.
"Of course I am. I mean you are my boyfriends best friend after all." I say laughing a bit to lighten the mood.
He just nods smiling a bit before letting my hand drop. "Okay. I think I've got the perfect idea then." He says to me.
Now I just hope this goes smoothly for Jase. He deserved the best and if this girl Makaylah did anything to hurt him she wouldn't have to worry about having a lecture from Niall. She'd have me to deal with. Jase has become like a brother to me.
A/N: Okay I know this chapter is reallyyyyy short but I haven't updated in ages. I decided to do a bit of #Jiley in this chapter for Makaylaahhh . I hope you all enjoy this and I hope to update again soon.
