Chapter 25

Rileys POV

I was finally with him again. After two long months of no contact I'm with him but for all the wrong reasons. I shouldn't be with him right now, not after I saw him kiss Avery, not after he almost killed Liam but I needed to talk to him. We had to talk about everything, about why he left me. I'm so confused and hurt. I wasn't sure if we could come back from this but I knew we had to try.

I've been miserable ever since he left, I tried so hard to get him to talk to me but Jase was the only one I could reach. I ended up staying with my cousin Zayn for a while and the only reason I was out with Liam was because Zayn had suggested I get out the house. I didn't know Liam had been drinking until we reached the coffee shop and that's went everything went downhill.

Now here we are riding awkwardly in his car. I haven't spoken a word to him since we left the coffee shop. I wasn't sure what to even say to him. I felt that if I said something right now then I'm blow up on him as soon as I opened my mouth. There were so many emotions running through my mind. I wasn't sure how to short them out either. All I could do was stare out the window praying for this car ride to be over soon.

"Do you want to come back with me or go back home?" Niall asks Harry and Louis who are sitting in the back of the car. They had came with him apparently.

"We'll come with you." Harry says slowly, he always spoke at a slow pace.

"Jase invited us over anyways." Louis says grinning a bit leaning against Harry intertwining his fingers with his causing Harry to blush a bit at the sudden action.

From what Jase has told me those two have been over a lot lately. He said they kept Niall occupied most of the time. "Okay. You guys staying over as well?" Niall asks as we pull up to the apartment complex that I haven't been too in over a month or so.

"Yeah if you don't mind mate." Harry and Louis say simultaneously before sharing a small laugh between one another as we all climbed out of the car.

"It's fine with me." Niall says shrugging his shoulders a bit as well head over to the elevator. It was much easier than walking up the steps even though it wasn't that far.

The elevator ride was quite and very awkward. Niall tried to say something to me but as soon as the doors opened on our floor I quickly run out. They all walk out as well and we wait for Niall to unlock the door. The one time this damn door was locked. As soon as I hear the click of the door opening I hear Jase's loud voice echo throughout the apartment.

"Bout time your ass got back here! When are we going out..." Jase stops in his tracks when he sees me walk inside with the others. A huge smile appears on his face as he pulls me into a hug nearly suffocating me to death.

"Can't....breath..." I choke out laughing a bit.

Jase immediately let's me go running a hand through his hair grinning at me sheepishly. "Sorry Ri, I've just missed you is all." He says hugging me again but this time not as tight.

"You just saw me the other day." I say raising an eyebrow at him jokingly. I've actually missed him as well. Yeah I'd see him from time to time but that was only when I'd try to get Niall to talk to me and I'd just end up with Jase.

Jase laughs a bit before playfully shoving me back, "You know what I mean Ri." I just nod giving him a wide grin before turning to Harry and Louis.

"Alright you two go with Jase to his room and do whatever because I need to talk with Niall." I say a bit too harshly at the end. I wasn't intending for it to come out like that but I was still upset with him. I needed to confront him about all of this.
