Chapter 7

I got in Aaron's car in the back seat . It was Monday morning && I was not ready to go back to school . honestly there should be a day between Saturday and Sunday . I made Ryder come with us to drop me off because I wasn't going to be in the car with Aaron alone . today I wore my TØP shirt && black shorts with my adidas superstars . my hair was straight and in a ponytail . I took out my phone and texted Shawn :

Me : are you there ?

Shawnyboy 😛: yea hurry up

Me : I'm trying , I'm in the car with Aaron :|

Shawnyboy 😛: lollololololololol sucks for you

"do you want me to pick you up after school?" Aaron asked . "no I'm fine" I said . "okay I might not be home but my wife will be ." "okay ." I said and we got to my school . "bye Avery have a good day ." Aaron said . I just hugged Ryder "love you Ryde ." I said . "love you too" he said quietly. I got out of the car && walked inside . I walked to the place where me and Shawn meet at . I walked up to him and hugged him . "Hey Shawnyboy " "hey Aves" he smiled and we started walking to where we meet with Janelle and Abbie . "how's everything at Aaron's ?" he asked . It's only been one day but honestly I was hating it . "not good I love my room tho" I smiled "course you do " he laughed . "It's huge" "I know . Ryder's loving it there tho so far ." I said and rolled my eyes . "that's good" Shawn said . "no not really " I replied annoyed . "why not ?" He asked . "because I don't get how he can just forgive Aaron so fast ! I mean I know he was little but he still knows what happened !" I raised my voice a little but not enough to draw attention . "I know Avery , but look Ryde needs a dad , either way Ryder would have forgiven him && it so happened to be sooner than later ." Shawn said . I just rolled my eyes "whatever" I whispered . I felt like Shawn was Aaron's side and I didn't like that . we got to were we meet Janelle . she walked up to me and hugged me I hugged her back "gf I missed you" she said "missed you to gf" I said back she missed school Thursday and Friday and I didn't see her this weekend . "hey" i smiled and hugged Abbie . "hey Aves" she hugged me back . Shawn hugged them both . "yo guys after school we should hang out" Shawn suggested . "I can't I have to go home " I said "why won't Rebecca be cool with you going out ? Abbie asked. "....I'm not living with her anymore " I said . "...you moved houses ?" Janelle asked . "where ?" "....my ... my dads ..." I said quietly. "oh crap for reals ?" Abbie said surprised . "yea " just than the bell rang and we all walked to class . "hey Shawn I need to talk to you can you call me after school ?" I said before we walked to class . "yea sure !" Shawn said and hugged me "love you" he said "love you"

-------after school-------
i walked to Ryder's school which wasn't that far from my school . I sat on a bench in front of the school where I normally waited for him. Sometimes when Shawn couldn't give us a ride home I would walk to Ryder's school and wait for him after school so we could walk home together . I had meet someone who did the same with his little brother . turns out his little brother was friends with mine ao it was all good . A few minutes later my friend Dustin came up to me and sat down . "heyy" he said "hi " I smiled at him . Dustin went to a different high school than me but we got a long just fine . "how was school ?" He asked . "ugh it sucked " I laughed he laughed too . "why?" He asked . Dustin was like the sweetest person ever , he was always really caring and was actually genuine in everything he did and said . He had light brown hair and green eyes . he had braces and was really tall . he also listened to pretty much the same kind of music and I did (and no not like Shawn Mendes and one direction and Justin Bieber lol) but the other kind . we got a long great . "Well I failed my geometry test && my best friend Shawn is basically taking my dads side and saying he's right and the I should just forgive him already && my boyfriend remember Blake ?" I asked "yea I remember him" he said . "well he kept texting me ." I said . "I thought you guys broke up ?" he asked confused . "no ... I mean I just told him not to talk to me , but we haven't broken up yet ..." I said . "ohh.." he said "yea it's complicated." I said . he kinda laughed . he took out his phone . I took out mine too and went on snapchat . "hey take a picture with me" I laughed . "okay" he smiled and looked at the camera . I put it on the dog filter . I smiled and he smiled too . I took it and than saved it . "omg Dustin we slayed this filter !!" I said laughing . "dude we did " he smiled at me . I leaned my head on his shoulder and posted the snap saying "my bestfriend is better than yours" . for the rest of the hour we just took pictures and talked . I always had a great time with him . when Ryder and Dustin's little brother David came we got up . I hugged Dustin "see you tomorrow " I smiled he hugged me back "see you tomorrow " he smiled too . me and Ryder started walking home . "So how was school ?" I asked . " it was good , I finally asked Hannah out." He said . "who's Hannah ?" I asked really confused . "oh she's some girl in my 3rd period" "haha okay" I said "how was school for you ?" he asked me . "it was alright the highlight of my day so far was seeing Dustin ." I shrugged . "well today can we hang out ? me you and dad ?" he asked sounding hopeful . "umm well ...." I paused . I looked at him and he looked at me with a hopeful face . "well I'll try " I gave him a side hug . "thanks Aves your the best" I nodded . we got to the house and I opened the door with the keys Aaron gave me this morning . Some lady with dark brown hair and brown eyes came to the front. "oh hi you must be Aaron's kids ." she smiled . "yea I'm Ryder and this is Avery " Ryde smiled . "hi" i said .  "I'm Gina it's nice to meet you too " she said "do you guys want something to eat ?" she asked . Ryder nodded "yes please ." "I nodded too. "okay I'll get something ready for you . " she said . we followed her into the kitchen . "oh this is your brother Hunter and ." she said pointing to a boy that looked like both Gina and Aaron . "mom who are they ?" he asked . "these are your new siblings this is Ryder and Avery come say hi" she said . he waved from his seat . "oh um I don't know if your dad told you but I have an older boy around your age Avery . um his name is Cameron he is actually at his friends house right now he will come home soon ." she said "um no he didn't tell me " I said I really wanted to see what he looked like . Gina started cooking something and me and Ryder sat  with Hunter . Ryder started talking to him and than they went to go play call of duty . the door opened and someone walked in "hey mom I'm home" a boy called out . His voice sounded really familiar... "in the kitchen sweetie there's someone I want you to meet ." Gina called out . The boy walked in the kitchen and hugged Gina than turned around and looked at me "omg Avery ?" He asked surprised "Cameron Dallas ??" I jumped up . "what the heck are you doing here I mean I'm glad I get to see you but why ?" he came and hugged me. I hugged him back "you too know each other ?" Gina asked really confused . "yea mom she's friends with my friend Shawn remember him ?" he asked . "oh yea well that's good that you guys know each other ." she smiled than went back to cooking . "so how long have you been here for ?" he asked . "Um well since yesterday I'm surprised Aaron didn't tell you ." I said . "oh yea and sorry I wasn't here yesterday I was with Nash " he said . "that's okay I'm just glad your my stepbrother instead of some random guy ." I said sitting down . he sat down too "stepbrother ? ....is Aaron your dad ?" he asked . "yea they didn't tell you ?" I asked . "well no I mean they said we were gonna take some foster kids in but I didn't know that it was gonna be Aaron's kids ." he said . I smiled "well at least I'd get to see you more && I'm surprised Shawn didn't tell me you were gonna be my brother ." "well he prob guessed you would know ." I shrugged "probably ." "wanna go to my room?" he asked . "yea sure ." I said . we both got up and I grabbed my backpack . we walked to his room . "so how do you like it here so far ?" he asked and sat on his bed . I sat on his bean bag . "it's okay I really like my room and I'm glad that your here && your mom seems nice ." I smiled . "yea she's great " he smiled too . "Aaron's pretty nice too " he said . I shrugged "not really" "why not ?" he asked . "I don't really want to talk about it right now " I said . we kinda just sat in silence for a while until I broke the silence "it's crazy cause I've always wanted to meet you ever since I started watching your vines and now I'm gonna actually be living with you " I laughed . "that is crazy ." Cameron smiled "but I'm glad that I'll actually be able to get to know you more" he said and I smiled . "yea I think that's gonna be the best part about living here." he looked down and smiled . "good" I grabbed my phone out and went to go sit next to him . "well since your gonna be my new brother i gotta tell everyone" I smiled he laughed "okay ." I went on snapchat and we took a selfie . I saved it than went on my Instagram and posted it captioning it with "guess imma be seeing my favorite person more often now #hesmynewbroIguess .  😛💕@camerondallas " than I turned my phone off . "hey have you been in our backyard yet ?" Cameron asked . "nah not yet" "oh come on you gotta see it " he smiled and got up . I got up too and we walked downstairs . "oh Avery food is ready by the way honey when your ready" Cameron's mom said . "okay thank you " I smiled . "mom were gonna go in the back real quick ." Cameron said . "okay" Gina smiled and we walked into his backyard. it was huge ! there was a huge pool and a basketball court and lots of trees and flowers and more . "Oh my gosh your backyard is great !!" I said amazed "well it's yours now too" Cameron looked at me and smiled . "wow I can't believe this " I smiled even bigger . "this is amazing ." "yea it is" Cameron said . "Ryder has to see this" I said . "is he your little brother ?" Cameron asked . "yea he's with your brother" I replied. "oh cool" "yea you'll like Ryder he's super chill for being 12" I said . Ryder was more mature than most kids his age. he grew up faster than them because of everything he's been through but he's really chill with everything and everyone . "can't wait to meet him" Cameron smiled . "Avery come and eat with me ." Ryder said from the kitchen. "I guess I gotta go eat right now" I laughed . "okay I'll be in my room" Cameron said than we walked inside . I walked to the kitchen and saw Gina made a fruit salad and some chicken and macaroni . I sat down thanked her for the food and ate with Ryder.
