As she took me down the stairs she handed me a cup of whine, bit I declined it. "Sorry, I don't really drink that much. Plus, this stuff seems strong." I said going for the food instead and grabbed an apple. "So, how long have you liked him?" I took a spit take and started coughing. "W-what do you mean?!" I said with cation. "Miguel, the blond one." She said with a smirk as she took a sip of her whine. "....is it that obvious. I though I was hiding it well enough." I said shyly as I took another bight. "Don't worry, I won't take him from you. As I said in our deal, I only want get out. Nothing more." She said walking away and enjoy the rest of the party. I was surprised that she knew about my love for Miguel. Then the Chief came up to me. "Finding everything delicious I hope." He with a cheerful face. I smiled as well with a smile. "Everything looks so good, I don't think I'll be able to stop." i said jokingly. "I'ts a feast after all, eat as much as you like." He said patting my head. Then we saw the guys step out of the temple. The chief turned to the musicians. "Big smiles, like you mean it. Ah 1, 2, 3!" Then the music started playing and the guys made their way down to thee beat. 

While the guys were doing their part of gods partying of drinking their butts off, i decided to do my own partying of not getting drunk of my rockers. After a few minutes by myself Chel came up to me. "I need your help." Then I followed her to find the guys and Altivo drunk and and nearly unconscious. "How much did they drink?" "As far as I know, a lot." She said as she picked up Tulio and I picked up Miguel. "Oh..H-hey (y-y/n)." Miguel said completely drunk. "W-where...we (hic) going." "Back to the Temple and you both to bed. Not sure about Altivo though." I said placing Miguel on my back and began walking up the stairs. "I'm sure your horse will be fine." Chel said as she carried Tulio by the shoulder. 

As we reach the Temple We placed them on the pile of blankets and pillows. "Night then." Chel said as she dusted her hands and left. I laid down on my own spot on the blanket till i felt being pulled in to a hug. I turned to see to find Miguel holding me tight. "Your..so soft (y/n)." He said still sleepy drunk, I felt my face heat up from his compliment. "U-um, Miguel. Could you-" "Don't wanna...You smell too good." He said holding me tighter laying his head on the crook of my shoulder. At this point I didn't know what to do....'If you can't beat them, join them I guess.' I thought falling asleep feeling the nice warmth from Miguel's hug as I lay between him and Tulio.

As morning came I didn't ever want to get up for two reason, I was tired carrying one of my drunken friends and said drunken friend is holding me still sleeping by will. Even though he snores like a lion, he's warm and comfortable as fuck the pillows around us can't compare. As they guys were still sleeping as I was laying in Miguel's sleep hug the Priest head just popped over us. "Ah!" We all said surprised and a little scared due to his sudden appearance. "Good morning my lords...and subordinate." He said to us and left. 'Ah, I think he's warming up to me.' I thought sarcastically. "He's back." Miguel whispered to me and Tulio as he clinged to me and I did the same "Oh no." Tulio said rubbing his face to wake up. "Um,Miguel, could you let me go?" I asked Miguel, but wished to stay in this position. "Oh, sorry." he said letting me got as he sat up. I notice something was off since it looked like we were somewhere else and not the temple. "The Gods Have Awaken!" We heard the priest yell out and we were shocked as Miguel was helping me off the carrier and Tulio fell off and stood straight back up like nothing happened. Then Chel came over with a bowl of flower petals and scattered them on the ground in front of us while the guys were fixing their hair and Miguel waving to the crowed. "Hey Chel, what's going on?" "Yeah, why are we here?" Me and Tulio whispered to her and she looked really scared. "It's not going to be good." She said I was confused and a little scared myself by her answer. "Uh, thank you." Tulio said to her. 

Then the Priest went up to the edge of this temple "This city has been granted a great blessing, and what have we done to show our gratitude....a meagle celebration?!'" He asked yelling out to the crowed annoying the chief and I liked the party to be honest. We looked at each other then back at him. "The gods diverse a proper tribute!" He yelled out and looked at the guys as two of the people here were carrying something in a decorated sack and lifting it in the air. The guys looked at each other and smiled in delight while I was a little more cautious. If Chel was was cautious, it must be something serious then just some present. "The beginning of a new era!" he started saying as the two lowered it and the it started glowing and moving away. "The dawning of a new age..." then it it started burning. "Demands...sacrifice!" A man was there and we were in complete shocked. 'S-sacrifice?!' I started shaking my head and moved back almost faint as Miguel hold me from falling. 'T-this...this is wrong.' I thought in fear moving my hand to my head. The priest raised his hand and the man followed like he was possessed! "I don't like this." "Tulio, (y/n), we've got to do something." "I know but what?" We were conversing to each other of the sickening sight before us. The Priest was handed a paddle and moved the man to the edge to fall o his death. He was ready to strike the helpless man with no mercy. "Stop!" Miguel said as we were walking up to stop this. "This is not a proper tribute!" Tulio said to him as Miguel and I helped this helpless man. "You do not the tribute." He asked said looking at us shocked. I glared at him and helped Miguel lift the man. "No,no,no. We want tribute, it's just that...um, Tulio tell him." Miguel said to him as we were carrying the man away from the edge. "The stars are not in position for this tribute." Tulio stated his false reason. "Like he says. Stars. Can't do it. Not today." Miguel said as were were carrying the man away and Tulio was glaring at the Priest. "Ah, Well perhaps it was possible I miss read the heavens." He said looking like he felt ashamed. Then Miguel went up to him and I was next to Tulio. "Don't worry about it, you are human and we forgive." 'Not me.' I thought to myself. Suddenly the Chief came up with woman behind him holding a lot of stuff. "My lords and friend, may the people of El Dorado offer you our tribute." He said showing  the girls holding a bounty of gold. We were shocked but happy to this beautiful sight. "My lords and friend, does this please you?" He asked us with a sincere smile. We all nodded, Tulio sighed with delight while me and Miguel smirked with delight, then we regain our composer. "Yes, i's very nice, um it's acceptable" "It'll do." Miguel and Tulio said as I nodded in agreement. "The gods and their friend have chosen. To Sheballba?" He asked us. We looked at each other and nodded, but then I notice Chel was shacking her head with a disprove face. "To Shebalba!" The guys said and she faced-palmed. Then the women started throwing the gold over the edge in the whirlpool below us. 'Oh...now it made sense.' I thought looking the gold going down in the water and the guys looked frozen with a smile still on their faces. "Hey Chel, what are they doing?" Miguel asked her "There send it to Shebalba, the spirit world." She said irritated. "Well, it's better then sacrificing an innocent person." I send with no hesitation about the gold being tossed down in to the water. The guys just sighed and nodded to my statement, but still disappointed. Tulio even whimpered. "I'll take care of it." Chel said going to the Chief. She was whispering something in his ear and he looked like he was going to speak again. "STOP!" He yelled and they all halted. I saw a golden plate rolling on its side about to fall in when Tulio stopped it with his foot. I giggled at his action he made. "They wish to vask, take it to the Temple for the Gods and their Friend." He said and they did as he said. After that she came up to us with a cheery tone. "Nice going." Tulio whispered to her and we made are way back to the temple.
