"Chard, dun ka muna sa kwarto, please?" She asked while she headed into the kitchen.
"Bakit?" He asked stopping in his tracks.
"Sige na, love. Dun ka muna sa taas. Por favor?" She said again looking at him with puppy dog eyes.
"Sige na nga lang. Wait, did you just call me love?" He said again with a grin.
"H-ha? B-baka mali lang ang p-pagkakarinig mo." She said, stuttering.
Wala na Mendoza....She thought.
Richard just smiled and went upstairs while Maine went into the kitchen.
After an hour or so Maine went upstairs with a chocolate cake in hand.
"Para san yan?" Richard asked as he looked at the cake that his wife baked.
"Wala, ginawa ko lang para thank you sa'yo."
"Thank you saan?" He asked.
"Sa pagiging the best na kaibigan. Kahit one week pa lang tayo naging friends. Ulit."She said.
"Naks naman. Salamat Menggay. Best friends ulit tayo ha?" He said while taking a bite off the cake.
" Oo naman." She said as she also took a bite off the cake.
They continued earing cake amd also sharing stories and more.
