The dinner was done (at last) and their parents were delighted of the news of new family members arriving.
"Meng, okay ka lang?" He asked as he made himself comfortable on the bed.
"Oo, bakit naman?"
"Kasi kanina ka pa naka-smile eh." He replied, and it was true. Maine has been smiling for the past few hours.
"Excited kasi ako. Na mag-kakaroon na tayo ng baby." She said, still smiling.
He smiled as well and kissed her on the lips.
"Bakit?" She asked.
"Anong Bakit?"
"Bakit mo ako hinalikan?"
"Kasi mahal kita." He said while putting the strands if hair behind her ear.
"I love you, Menggay." He said.
"I....I love you too, Tisoy." She said.
