Richard woke up to a call he received at 8:00 a.m.
"Hello?" He asked, not bothering to check the caller ID.
"Nak?" The voice from the other line asked. He sat up straight and he continued talking with his father.
"Dad? Napatawag kayo?" He asked.
"Nak, I hope you won't mind. Pero ikaw ipapadala ko dun sa Cebu para mag-asikaso ng isang restaurant branch natin dun." He said direcrtly.
"H-ha?" Richard, completely surprised, Stuttered. "Ah, Dad kasi may sasabihin pa po kami ni Menggay sa inyo." He said lookin at his wife's sleeping figure.
"Nak, puwede ba na sa telepono nalang natin to pag-usapan." His father asked a little worried.
"Ah, Dad we were planning po kasi na mag-dinner tayo dito sa bahay kasama sina Tita Mary Ann at Tito Teodoro." He said looking directly at the ceiling.
"Ok." His father said as he ended the call.
