It was alredy 5 p.m. The food was ready, the tble was set, they were all dressed up and their parents would arrive at any minute.

A few seconds later, he heard a knock on the front door. It was his mother-in-law with his father-in-law. They were both standing at the front door hand in hand and with big smiles plastered on their faces.

"Good Evening, Tito and Tita.Pasok po kayo" He said as he was doing the mano gesture.

"Good Evening, Hijo." They said as they entered the residence and sat on the sofa in the living room.

"Tawagin ko lang si Meng." He said.

They both nodded. He walked up the stairs to the walk-in closet where Maine was for the past thrity minutes.

"Meng..." He said as he opened the door for him to walk in.

There she was straightening the white dress that she was wearing. It was a fit dress, and (thankfully) her baby bump was not yet visible.

She inserted her hand into Richard's arm and went downstairs.
