Chapter 41

8-9 months later

Maine was sitting in their bedroom, reading a book to save herself from boredom.

When she was about to turn the page, she felt pain coming from her stomach.

She felt her water break and she immediately called for her husband, who was watching a movie downstairs.

"Richard!!" She screamed.

Richard swiftly made his way into their bedroom, panic palpable on his face.

"Ricardo! Manganganak na ata ako!!" She said still screaming, Richard on the other hand was realaxing a bit.

"Sus, manganganak ka lang pala." He said still not processing what his wife just said.

"Ha? Manganganak ka na?!" Then he panicked. Again.

He quickly called Manang Ann, their housekeeper. She was in her late forties, a good lady, a good cook and a very very calm person at times that the couple may panic.

"Ser, tara na po sa sasakyan. Lagi po yun nakahanda." Manang Ann said.

They quickly went into the car and were on their way in no time.
