Part 35

Maine and Richard were finally on their way to Dr. Reyes, the Faulkerson family's OB-Gyn for over a decade.

"Um, Maine, When did your morning sickness start?" Dr. Michelle Reyes asked as she took some notes.

"It started a few days ago." She stated.

"Oh. Kailan ka nagkakaroon?" The doctor asked.

"Madalas po, 16 or 21.. wait. Doc, what day is it today?" She asked.

"Um, it's way pass your days.." She stated.

"When  did you and your husband have....?" Dr. Reyes asked narrowing her eyebrows.

"Um, about, 3-4 weeks ago." She said while blushing at  Michelle's question.

"Ok, I'll ask you to take a PT." She said as she handed Maine a pregnancy test.

A few moments later, she went out of the hospital bathroom, looking at the pregnancy test, showing two lines.

"I'm pregnant." She murmured and sighed.  She didn't actually
know if she should feel happy, scared, or relieved.

She went into Dr.Reyes' office where Richard sat near the table.

"So, what were the results?" Richard asked excitedly while Dr. Reyes also showed a smile.

"You're going to be a father in nine months." She said with a smile, arms crossed.

"Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Faulkerson. I'll be giving you some schedules about wjen we meet for Maine's check-ups." Dr. Reyes said as she walked them to the door.

After that, Maine decided to feel Happy.

Happy.

After that, Maine and Richard walked out hand in hand.

"You happy?" She asked.

"Of course. I always wanted to have children with you....." He trailed off.

Maine blushed as she smiled. Richard, on the other hand was also smiling.

"Malay mo, maging ka-birthday ko pa baby natin." He stated.

Maine still smiled. Holding Richard by the hand.
